Hmm it hasn't been like that for me since fifa 2005 or 06 like Mr moon please go to w/e and w/e but since fifa 08 the announcer says: goal in whatever minute, my whatever player name and their number, although not all names are announced

Oh you mean the commentator. Yeah I get that also (apart from the player name part), but I really am talking about the stadium announcer.

I did check the audio files for the announcer using Sound Manager, and yeah it's just some dude saying some really random stuff. Like when you make a substitution, sometimes I listened closely and he talks about some spectator who needs to check his ticket number and go to some gate or some mess like that.

Actually, from Fifa08 to 09, they did NOT change the commentary and announcer system at all. I call it very lazy and not improving. I mean they have a whole year to do whatever before they release the game. Spend some time and record something proper.

That must be why then... Alright then I'm going to have to change my complaint, so that they add that stuff for the PC version

Well to be honest with you i would like to improve it as a whole. Sometimes the announcer doesn't even speak, rarely though. My main complaint is its very repetetive and even if it is an away match at a bitter rival the guy will still say: "goalscorer for man utd, in the 65th min...WAYNE ROONEY!"(EXAMPLE) when really they would say it low-key.

So EA bring some variety and realism into it if you can!

Default Fifa 10 needed improvements

I've been a HUGE fan of PRO EVO series up until this season Pro Evo 2009 /FIFA 09.
FIFA 09 won me over because the flaws that pro evo had, fifa 09 didnt!
BUT there are still bits that FIFA have missed greatly.

Number 1: goalie kits are always blank, but all 10 player shirts are with the logo's etc.
Number 2: I see FIFA is all about the fancy presentation of video clips etc, but it lacks hugely when the presentation is within the game! i.e when you win a cup be it league or tournament , there's no players picking up the trophy and fireworks, but surely that is was football is all about winning the prize's at the end of the season/tournament!.
Come on EA , your great with the video clips before kick off, freekick, goal kick, corner, and off course the celebration of a goal , but no video clip for the team that win the competition!!

Number 3: when a goalie has the ball for a goal kick i think the ref should book the goalie if "the player " delays the restart of the game , that would make the online (as an example slightly more pressured for the goal kick.

Number 4:Manager mode does need an over haul, more realistic transfer's definately, regardless of the team in the managaer mode there should be all competitions opened up for the team, plus with the "be a pro" why doesnt that have the FA CUP , League Cup, ALSO when breaking into the National Team why doesnt the "Be a Pro extend to National Tournaments" be it official to that season, i.e 2010 will see the World Cup in South Africa, so the whole point of "be a pro " is surely to have the best reputation and scoring goals. so why not include the tournaments at national level within the "Be a Pro mode when the league season ends?"

Number 5: Substutions: theres always random clips of players coming on or off the pitch, but have you noticed that behind the player (the bench is always empty) so considering EA is about making things authentic , where are the players on the bench?

People you know you may agree with all my points, some of my points or have better ideas to add to my original idea so speak now , so we can help make FIFA 10 even better than the makers want, we are the fans and we are the ones that buy the game.!

Mentioning PES, couldn't FIFA just make those update downloads available for things they don't have? They could develop new things like a few clubs to go in rest of world section for example and in a few months put it up on PSN or Xbox Marketplace.

Default Commentary variations in cups etc

A lot of threads have been said about the commentators not being active enough in the specific situation..not getting excited after a cup final or league win..

Do you guys remember the commentary in FIFA 06: WORLD CUP (NOT ROAD TO WORLD CUP)? I think that was pretty good as the commentator spoke a bit about the countries history and the accomplishment and he spoke more realistically to the situation for example when the final finished.

If EA could use some of this programming or commentary i'd be quite happy with it

Although i agree AI is pretty stupid....who really buys the game to watch the AI play against each other? It should just be clever when it's playing against the player, and it has been announced the AI will defend variably, for example many men behind the ball.

Also, improve the referees!!

Alot of people have great idea's, I myself get frustrated with the offside rule, even though it shouldnt be as the game aint programed to regonize deflected passes of the other team player which would cancel out the offiside,

when winning a tourament, was disappointed that didnt get to see the trophy, just my players standing about jumping lol, which needs improved.

I hope that in the next fifa or fifa 11 lol, that EA bring in the weather system that is on the tiger woods 10, weather can change with a brink of an eye to sunny then to thunder storms, hope that be in future installments....i do live in scotland an weather changes here every 5 seconds.... any 1 agree? ...an p.s bring the snow back,

i noticed when playing my games such as in the ECC (a.k.a champions league) in manager mode or pro mode, that most of the game as during the day instead of nite?? games are on random of day of play but surely the game should know all the champions league games are at nite...

A.I. needs improved to, with the players standing and waiting for the ball to come to them instead of running to it.

just a thought:

can we have a mode of somekind like we had in fifa 97 i think it was, when we had indoor football, you couldnt beat that lol

any comments welcome!

I have one suggestion, the Fixtures should be played in different time, not all games should be played at the same time.

I don't think it would matter. Most fixtures do start at the same time. Remember this is a game..

One thing I've seen, off the topic of this, is that ALL Premiership stadiums will be included in Fifa 10, along with lots more european ones. Also, as much as i would love the trophy celebrations in Fifa 10, it's more than likely to be included in Fifa 11.

Guys, play as the World XI against the Classic XI on Legendary difficulty. The AI is actually very smart when i play this match and they make incisive runs, cross-field passes into space, and clever dribbling etc. I lost 2-1

To make it fair, I play only one half for each team.

As people have asked for those little white socks/tape that C. Ronaldo and Torres wear, i guess they could either add that or add it to the most famous players that wear them because they would be more recognisable and the game wouldn't look exactly the same.

You didn't see that on wiki by any chance? It's a lie, there is no way that ALL Premiership stadiums will be in Fifa 10. In fact, there probably will only be 4.

Default Ray Hudson & Phil Schoen

I have, like everyone else, so many ideas, but something that hasn't been mentioned yet is a downloadable commentary pack featuring GolTV's Ray Hudson and Phil Schoen.

I myself live in Hungary, but I think most people in the United States watch GolTV, and are most familiar with the two commentators I mentioned above, and not the usual people from Sky Sports. They're class, and would really be a great addition.

Again, I think it should be an optional thing, maybe around christmas or something.

I would love to be able to play two legged exhibition matches, and get rid of that silly kick that sometimes happens when you hold down lobbed pass to hoof it first time.

Is that just me and my mate that that happens to?

For the people who wanted to know, at the moment the UK cover of FIFA 10 is gonna include Rooney(as always) but also Walcott and Lampard. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...A_10_Cover.jpg

Rooney looks like he has no eyes lol, I think this is his worst ever cover mugshot

As others have said, they should make it possible to choose socks and shorts at each match according to real life situations such as when Man United play in Europe they wear white socks and shorts instead of black socks and when they play at Man City they wear black socks and shorts.

One thing i've noticed is, the real Old Trafford tunnel goes from the diagonal corner of the stadium, while in the game it's in the centre. Small thing which can be fixed.
