Be-A-Pro (FIFA 2009 summary)

Found this post on GameSpot forums; I think it sums up Be-A-Pro in FIFA 2009.

"I hope we are not too late, but be a pro is something that really need to be improved, it was a great great idea, I even remember some guys proposed it since like Fifa 2002 or something, but seriously, what are they thinking...

Yesterday I was trying to play on legendary, and Im not saying it is imposible, but it is really annoying, your team just suck. They are so stupid, so slow, making penalties, giving stupid passes, shooting every time, I really can understand why they say that you have to control just one player, if you have to ask for almost every pass, almost every cross, you even have to tell them when to attempt a steal..... even the offside trap works, doesnt matter if you are an attacker... WHEN HAVE YOU SEEN AN ATACKER CALLING AN OFFSIDE TRAP??

GOALS??? goals are aweful... scenario: you are a defender, you choose centerright, you start a new be a pro career, and your first 3 goals are: score one goal, win by 3, get over 7 (8,9, doesnt matter)... how stupid is this??? which manager asks a defender to score goals?? and they are called goals, not challeges or something....I think there could be a more interesting way of gaining exp, like for defenders, making saves, passes, tackles, even a more correct goal for a defender, instead of the second one could be "not allow goals" or "allow less than 3 goals"

Another thing and this could be changed easily.... How often have you seen your national team play against the same team in the same season, and im talking about friendlies?? I generaly choose a mexican player, and I always play against new zeland twice or south africa....yeah, Ive played against other teams, but why do I have to play every season against NZ??

EA: Please for BeAPro Season , change how your own teammates reacts when you press that button for passing, shooting and so on WHEN they have the ball ...
IT IS CRAZY that a player could force his teammates, that they pass or shoot or do a tackle ... and even to force the goalkeeper to come out !

PLEASE REMOVE THAT ... and exchange it with, that your player
"CALLS for that" and the AI decides if that player with the ball is doing it.
Should depend what status you have in the team, e.g. if you are captain, have maybe high stats , and so on ... BUT most of the time the AI should decide itself ... C.Ronaldo/Rooney and so on will not give you the ball, if he has a better chance to score than you and so on.

If you couldn't program that scripts in time, make an OPTION to remove that possibility to brainwash your teammates !
