Default FIFA 11 Clubs Debate

FIFA 11 Clubs Debate
On FIFA 11, I would love to see FIFA clubs go back to what it was on FIFA 09, with real players not these rubbish virtual pros.

Yes I believe that the league system works well this year so keep that as it is enjoyable to try and win each month, and also please look into making cup tournaments so something along the lines of maybe the champions league and you have to qualify for it and also the FA Cup. This would be an exciting addition as you will see more teams playing never then before.

I dont want to be using fake players as it seem unrealistic and not enjoyable as you cannot try and play like a professional player would. It is also unrealistic how players are able to get up all over 90 on there virtual pros as tbh the only players which should be up there should be the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi so I just feel that they should bring back real players.

So the question is do you want Real Players or these Generic Players.

I like the generic feel of the game especially if your club mates take it seriously, have the VP looking like them, using names ect..

I would add a few twists to Fifa11 ......

1.Design Own Club Badges and Kits ( Like Pro Evo)

2.Have Knockout Cup Competitions each month

3. Each club gets one wildcard when they create a club (CPU Onliy) Player rated 80+.When your club reaches a certain number of wins you have a second wild card to use to fill a position of your clubs choice, this would be a set CPU player, there would be a selection of real players to choose from. The maximum number of wildcards in any one season could be 3 players. To get to have a 3 wildcard players you would to be ranked top 50 or something.

With idea No3 you then get a bit of the real mixed in with generic.

Also would make clubs have to use there brain as to who would fit in your team, If you already have goalscorers and creative players then you wouldn't need a Messi, Ronaldo ect...

But if like my club you need defensive you could look at, Essien, Yaya, Vidic ect..

i must disagree i LOVE the virtual pros, tbh i did not play fifa09 clubs much because i think it was boring my team never felt different and personal

i love feeling that it is MY character playing and everyone of my teammates are also looking like themselves

also just because everyones overall is 90+ does not mean the 90+ is going to win, it is also all about your skill as a gamer

end of the day ppl who cant play fifa well will say they want to use the vp's bcos they can have 99 stats etc. yes the 85 worked well but still had faults with the real stats. tbh i woudnt mind seeing the real stats put into use next yr. then all different teams would have different things to offer

i played a little clubs on 09 and half the teams were using the dream team glitch(very annoying)

i much prefer the new system but i must agree gk and none vp's need looking at? even if they were squad members that were'nt online that would help?

yh but the dream team glitch was found near the end of 09 so the real players were good at the start of it

also dont forget that without glitch all the "real players" of 09 were all stat 85. I believe that club should have players with exactly the same stats, so it can be a true test of skill. Bring back same stat players (all 85 or whatever) then that way you can chose if to have your VP playing or not

so i guess i'd vote for a mixture of both

Generic players all with the same overall ftw! Seriously i think VP is half lalalalalalalala and half fun. What's the point of a leaderboard for both players and clubs when your player gets better the less life you have, and you can take advantage of this?

I think the VP's are better, I think it adds alot to the game and building him up is cool. I would however like to choose the players around you when you make a club, so like you can choose the size of the fake players like you can your VP. Oh and making your own kit and badge would be cool too.

All EA need to do imo is put the non-VP players as 75 and proper heights and we have a perfect game. EA should of put achievments based on performances such as "+2 finishing for having 70% Shot Accuracy over 10 games" like that where you have to be good to get them so you deserve the attribute boost.

VP's rock. I dont wanna play as a player i watch on TV. I want to be that player on TV.

Sort the small keepers out and random defences or at least making it more rewarding to be a defender and I am happy.

Nothing worse than waiting for 3 14 year olds fighting who is Torres, Ronaldo, Messi :s

I do love how my 55 rated CB can still tackle the 87+ 6"5 stikers and out jump them most of the time

if i had to pick one or the other i'd choose real players. but i'd rather best of both and let the captain decide. midget goalkeepers are useless too.

I gotta say i prefer the new system of using your vp. plus on 09 its all the same teams that get used all the time at least this way you can choose any team you want as its only the strips you choose it for and the comp players are no better at man utd than they are at yeovil

I think VP's work well, they encourage teams to take on more players to fill the spaces where a crappy cpu player may be. I disagree with the midget keepers though, they need to go.

Generic definitely, it's a good feature to be able to make your own player and use him online.
What should be changed is the CPU, they should definitely be more appropriate players who match level of the team.
