How to counter Gameplay cards

This is how I prepare for Gameplay card users

Only stock these cards...they can be found in the auction seciton

Reduce Team/position pace
Reduce team/position fitness
boost team/position fitness
boost team/position pace

Make sure you assign them before any cup final, and only use them if cards are used on you.

If they use any cards at all, I reduce their pace and fitness...if they reduce mine, I boost it back up negating their cards.

Gameplay cards are all about being more prepared than the other guy

personally im a fan of the lenient ref card especially on teams that have extremely trained players

ah someone else who does the business! theres so much complaining about gameplay cards and how they should be banned... well since theyre in the game, and dont look to be coming out, u just need to learn to counter them. Listen to this man

i just stock 2 reduce fitness and 2 fitness boosts and if any cards are used on me i unleash mine

exactly....I never use my gameplay cards as an offensive weapon, only as a retaliatory measure.

its the way it should be done, even if im gettin one of those once in a while horrific beatings, the ones u tell ure friends about lol ill still play it straight up unless sum1 pops one on me, then ill counter..

Same here and i load up with exactly the same cards as you mentioned, while gameplay cards are in the game people will use them, and more often then not in a cup final. The only cards that bother me are the reduce fitness and reduce pace, having pace boost and fitness boost solves this problem and allows me to turn the tables on the other player and see how they like it.

if they use 1, any card, on themselves or a reduce on me, I break out all four of mine.

If they use zero, I use zero.

I look at it like a nuclear arsenal...it's peace through superior firepower.

does anyone else, and this is when u have no counter cards for pace and fitness, find that if u switch to a heavy possesion play with a slow build up u can also somewhat neutralize their advantage? seems to work for me...

I dont know, i never go into an online game without a reduce pace and fitness just incase.

If i'm winning be 3 or 4 goals and they bring out the cards i dont bother using mine, as the game is won and i'd be just wasting them, other than that i bring them out in a similar fashion to you.

It sucks, but sometimes you have to have a weapon just incase the other guy breaks one out.

I have a question

I bought all gameplay cards you have listed, all for position.

For example: When the opponent is reducing the fitness of my defence, how can I choose that my fitness+ card boost the defense? Is it automatically or how does it work? I didn't use this **** cards before, so I ask you

i play strict to yellow then
strict yellow to red

fit boost
another fit boost if they start first

I dirbble around them and one foul they leave the game some guy thought it was cool to reduce my fitness I played strict yellow then strict yellow to red and he lost 3 of his back 4 lol easy win

Card is played
Step 2: play the ball around your defence
Step 3: Send message to offender about cheat cards being for total lalalalas.

I think you do it when your controling a defender like a throw in, then use the positional + fitness boost on the whole of the defence

Good thread, the only time i could see why they are in the game is too help out the 1-3 star teams that are just starting out against 90+ teams.

Never thought of this before, works perfectly haha ! And the guy who used the gameplay cards on me first, got super ****ed off.
He wasted 4 cards on my midfielders and forwards.

Strict ref works a treat too.

Strict ref only works if the player you're vs atm fouls a lot. If they play straight up, it will never really come into play. Personally, I don't get called for many fouls so it would be a waste against me.
