Good thread. Can anybody tell me though how are these symbols look like on ur screen. I guess the obvious is that if red and looking like a running man, meaning he's reducing ur player's ability, and green meaning boosting his team? But is there like a guide? cause it's hard to tell what those thingie are to begin with. And like most of u, i don't use these gameplay cards to know and be choosey about it. When 1 being used on me I unload all 4.

Green means boost, red means decrease.
Man running is pace. Man flexing is strength Man waving flag is Morale Dumbbell is fitness Whistle is strict ref Whistle with a line through it is lenient ref. those are the only ones that matter |

Regarding these gameplay cards Every pack contains then, so there are they for the use.
I think it makes games better and different then all teams with the same 99 team. Well done Ea for changing the game a bit making it different. Isn't is about winning trophys at the end of the day. Ok some people say it is cheating, but what drogba/ronaldo do every week in the premiership by diving is that cheating who knows ? maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Was the ball over the line in 1966 World cup final ? Did Maradona raise his arm to score against England in 1986 ? Is it right for people who can afford it to go on the trade market and buy all the top players, Rooney,Gerrard,Ronaldo,Messi,Torres etc.... Gameplay cards can counter players like that.... I rather open a pack and hope i get a great player... Gameplays cards are there to be used stop sulking and get on with the game. |

lol, who's sulking...honestly, I've made more people who use GP cards quit with my counter strat than most people I would think. People who use GP cards are EXACTLY the type of people who can't take it when they get used against them. Added to that, if they don't quit, they have zero chance of winning because they rely on their card advantage to beat a skilled opponent. If you take away that advantage (my method), they cry and moan and eventually quit or lose 5-0

unless you have 3 positional cards and keep playing it on the same area its not that hard to do something revolutionary called...............making a SUBSTITUTION!!!
if you dont want your players to be affected by gameplay cards then MAKE SUBS and for all you people who have 99 pace players i dont think its that hard to deal with!!!

The positional cards only effect starters, and you're only allowed 3 subs. Personally, I just nuke their whole team because I'm confident that I'm better than most at creating goals from skill and not speed. |
