I have finished the coin calculator that I've been working on lately. The coin calculator calculates what you will earn in a game depending on which options you select from the drop down lists (goals, shots on goal, etc).

To use the calculator you must have Microsoft Excel. I have uploaded both the Excel 2007 version of the calculator and also a version for Excel versions 1997 to 2003.

To download the files you will need WinRAR or WinZIP.

When calculating Online Game earnings make sure you select "Online Match" in all of the selections it's in (home/away, team difference (both teams) and difficulty), if you just select it in just one of them and not the other three you will get a totally inaccurate total coin earnings. So either have them all selected as Online Match, or none at all.

Right, it seems some people get a bit confused with how to earn the 'big coins', I keep seeing threads with things like "I just beat sombody 10-0 online and only got 800 coins, why ?"

Due to this I thought it would be a good idea to write a little guide on how the coin earnings system works, if anybody has any information that I have missed / need to include, let me know and I'll add it to the post. Currently the information I am missing is the maximums in the negative earnings section - so if anybody could provide me with the maximum number of fouls and offsides that are calculated that'd be great.

Ok, so here it is - these are the MAXIMUM (MAX) amounts you can earn (minus multipliers) per catagory, along with negative earnings and multipliers information:

Match Completion: 200 Coins

Goals: 200 Coins (40 coins per goal - 5 goals MAX)

Shots On Target: 75 Coins (5 coins per SOT - 15 SOT MAX)

Tackles: 20 Coins (1 coins per tackle - 20 tackles MAX)

Corners: 50 Coins (5 coins per corner - 10 corners MAX)

Clean Sheet: 25 Coins

Passes Complete %: 100 Coins MAX (Your percentage = coins earned)

Possession %: 100 Coins MAX (Your percentage = coins earned)

Man Of The Match: 10 Coins


Notes:

After 5 goals no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 15 shots on target no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 20 tackles no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 20 corners no more coin bonuses will be awarded

ONLINE GAMES ARE DIFFERENT , CORNERS ARE WORTH 5 COINS
AND THE MULTIPLIER IS A FIXED x1.5

COLLECTION EARNINGS

Adding a Gold player card to your collection will fetch around 475-500 coins.

Adding a silver card to your collection will fetch around 150-200 coins.

Completing a 7 page team in your collection will fetch you a 1,000 coin bonus.

Completing a 14 page team in your collection will fetch you a 5,000 coin bonus.

The maximum coins available to earn in a single game are: 2010 (Multiplier x3,1212)

Note: When working out your total earnings remember not to include the 200 coins completion bonus in the amount that gets multiplied (you add the 200 coins at the end once you've worked out the coins that get multiplied). UPDATE: Use the calculator at the top of the page to work out your earnings !

However to get that amount you'd need to achieve unlikely/impossible statistics, such as 100% possession, 100% pass completion and no fouls/offsides. Not to mention the fact you'd need to play as a ½ star team against a 5 star team on Legendary difficulty.

I am playing as a 4 1/2 star team, soon 5 star. I am currently figthing against PSG (France 4 star team) I always win with 5 goals and get from 1050 to 1200 coins. Anyone know a easy to beat 5 star team? Or is it possible to just transer some players to PSV and make them subs, so they became 5 star and I get more money?

What do you mean the team difference multiplier doesn't work for you ? It seems fine to me ...

I have noticed though if you play a match with a 5 star team and then change your line up to say a 3 star team, the game will still think you're 5 stars when you start your next match. Anyone else noticed this ?

Personally I play stoke city (3 1/2 star) on legendary and gain between 1000 and 1200 coins per game. I haven't found a 5 star team that is easy pickings yet, I tried AC Milan and scraped a 2-1 victory but against stoke city I almost always clear 5 goals and normally keep a clean sheet...

Try PSV mate, French team. They are very easy to beat. Nothing fail with em, I played them myself and they rock. But when the CPU controlls em they suck.

I don't know ... it might be worth looking into ?

Not sure I want to tweak the teams though, I kinda like the challenge of playing a 5* team on Legendary. Makes me work harder for my coins.

Team difference, UNFORTUNALLY don't work on ONLINE. So even if you're ½ star vs 5 star you don't make any EXTRA witch is a SHAME because nobody wants to play 5 stars teams

Basically just play with a bad team and next time you play online it shows your bad team instead of the team u use next(preferably the good one)

You definatly do NOT get a team difference multiplier online. I've also not been able to get the "play a match with a poor team to keep that rating for the next game" thing to work. I do, however, encounter my team changing from a 2* to 2.5* rating even when I'm not changing my starting 11 or buying / selling players. It's really weird.

An easy 3.5* team to play against is Birmingham, as mentioned in a different thread. I play again them all the time offline with said 2* team and have no problem getting over 1000 coins a match.

Although those multipliers don't apply to online games for some weird reason (wouldn't bet against that being a bug) and as I_am_Victory just pointed out, you get some 200 coins just for finishing the game

Also I'd think the max coins you can earn would be 2434 (My max is less than half that @ 1187)

That's 1,36*2,25*1,02 to find the multiplier = 3,1212

200 coins for playing the match
580 coins for playing the perfect match (although when scoring 5 goals the other team has to take 6 kick offs and even though they always just kick the ball away straight from there I don't think you could achieve 100% possession)

That's my argument =)
