ok I seen too many threads complaining/asking about how to keep on top of contracts, i thought of this method a while back and explained it on couple different occasions but its hard for people to search and for me to explain it over and over so i'll just make a thread about it
![]() the bronze pack method is that when comparing gold packs and bronze packs you should notice that 1 gold pack=10 bronze packs... and if you have a +3 negotiation manager then every contract card you apply have 3 more matches added onto it... so here we go, we first assume that every pack have 1 contract with respective color, eg. gold pack have 1 gold contract, +10 games for gold level, and 1 bronze pack have 1 bronze contract, +1 game for gold level... now 1 gold contract on your player is 10+3(manager's bonus), while the 10 bronze contract from packs gets you (1+3)*10, so you get 40 games instead of 13 games... so as you can see you get a lot more matches that way... but keep in mind here are some assumptions we made along the way, there might be more than 1 gold contract in a gold pack, if you get 4 cards in 1 pack then you'll probably get more games than buying bronze packs... we also assumed that gold contract to be 10 games, it could be 15 but not too much difference, also because of you get 10 chances to open packs you might just get more than 1 contract a bronze pack as well which is good in this case... now lastly this method works but at the expense that you won't get any big name gold players in your bronze packs... now from this point on, good luck with making your dream team

Mate this is great for the newbies and people who were asking. Also i wanted to add luck does pay a part like today got 2 bronze packs and got 5 contracts in each. While the next 2 got 2 contracts BUT this is great if your looking to play good bronze/silver teams and wouldn't want any big name gold players. Cheerrsss

Yeap this method helped me alot too.
But now i found a better and more effective method but its more time consuming. Trade Center !! .What i usually do is buy loads of Silver Contract Cards from the trade center. I go there and i set my search to maximum coins to 300 or 400 and i select silver card level and then i search it gives me lots and lots of results. I go through all of them and i find plenty of contract cards for sale whose bidding time is just about to run out and no one has bid on them yet, so i just bid 150 on them and there you go !! you got a contract card .. Once you find a card which has like 5minutes or 2-3 minutes remaining, stay on that same page and keep swapping cards like press up to go the card above and then press down to go back to the card whose time is about to run out.. This way it will update the Time Remaining.. As soon as there are 10 seconds on Time Remaining, Bid for it.. If someone else has already bid on him then it wont give them enough time to rebid for it and you will get the card. Also, There are many cards for sale on buy now for 300 or 350 too.. I usually find the best deals around 10-15 pages into the trade center, you will never find the good deals on the first 3-4 pages. |

i have a fully gold squad and continue to use this method - what i tend to do though is buy 1 bronze pack every 2 games (i get around 750 coins a match) meaning that every 2 games (1500 coins) 1000coins go into the kitty towards a gold pack every 10 games. it is essential to have a manager with +2/3 neg though!

I bought 2 bronze packs this morning, just 'cos I had a bit of spare coinage, and each pack had SIX player contract cards! I didn't need them so I just deleted them
![]() Buying bronze packs for contract cards is a perfect way of keeping the contract situation in hand, there's always at least 2/3 contract cards in each pack, not bad for 500 coins

I use this via but some times it does not even have one contract card and as you are saving up for a big player and after each match you use 500 coins you dont make no profit

My method is simple. I go to the market, find gold players about to end with a highest bid of 200-250, bid on them and add them to the collection for profit. With that profit I can then buy bronze packs. I don't tend to always go for bronze packs though. I've saved up 10k in a couple of hours before now by buying and collecting players/badges/kits.
Luckily I now have a manager with 70 contract and all starting 11 with 30+, all subs/reserves 10+. Edit: above method works for a while and then you find you keep winning cards you already have and have to sell them on again. I've stopped doing it so much now but at least it's got me in the position I currently am in. Oh, and sell things that are worth money. I sold 2 gold staff contract cards yesterday for 1.5k each, I got them in one gold pack. With silver and gold packs, always try to make enough coins off the back of a pack to allow you to buy another pack of the same colour. Very difficult to do with bronze so try to stretch to silver. One thing not in the OPs comments is that if you buy a silver pack, the proceeds give you enough to buy maybe 2 or 3 bronze packs aswell. If you buy a gold pack, the proceeds will probably give you enough to buy a silver pack and a couple of bronze packs, then the silver pack will give you enough to buy more bronze packs etc. You can't directly compare the cards you get in a gold pack to the cards you get in 10 bronze packs. Gold packs, if you can wait that long, are far better for your coin count than bronze packs. Last edited by Fodder007; 07-04-2009 at 01:29 PM.. |

Bump, this is game saving even when you're team is 99/99/99 and you're not making enough per game to keep your players.
Good work! [edit] Also if more people do this, then it will inevitably lower the insane price of gold contracts in trades |

You missed out one point..
- Buying a gold pack that gives you one gold contract, is only for one player. - Buying 10 bronze packs gives you loads of contracts to be used across your team. Hands down, the bronze pack method wins. |

thanks for the support for my method guy
it is not foolproof as people pointed out that they are not making money and thats because you are not getting too many points i earn about 800+ coins per match online so i save at least 300 coins a match plus sometimes i dont need to get contracts but this still doesnt get you rich overnight, if you want to buy thoses big names you might have to consider buying packs with real money because this method is for thoses people that cant afford contracts not people who wants to get richthen again this also prolongs the fun of UT because you are working for players slowly rather than buying the all star team then get bored of playing with them

and if your gold pack theory is toward people like you with players over 30 contracts then obviously you dont need this method since we are only hunting for contract cardsthen again would gold packs be worth the gamble? i like to find good deals in the market i got xavi and iniesta for 5k total lets see if you can get both with 1 gold pack

I can sell training cards for 500 buy-now, HCs for 300 buy-now, and healing cards for 200-350 buy-now depending on how powerful they are. I find that Bronze packs can frequently pay for themselves. |

ok but i have a manager of +2 negotiation is that good enough? bronze pack method can get kind of annoying because every game u would have to apply a contract to a gold player in ur ENTIRE team which would only give me 2 extra games for each player... so im not sure if this method would work for me.

+2 manager for an all gold team can be a little tough (i have +3 manager and i don't even save up a lot anymore, mainly because its harder to earn a lot of coins in matches now everyone have good team) but if you are welling to sell the training cards they can make some money for ya as well, i remember most training cards can go for 1k while pace ones can go over 2k...

What level cards are you talking about with prices of 1k and 2k. Not bronze. I never pay more than 500 for bronze training cards. I sell GK cards at 450 buy now, most cards at 500, and +Pace cards at 550. To OP to whom Tom was replying, I have a +3 Mgr with more than half my team Silver, and have very little trouble keeping my team in contracts. The trouble with a Gold manager is keeping *him* in contracts. |

oh well not everyone is a bargain hunter, i never had trouble selling my bronze training cards, also if you are patient enough you can sell them at very different prices, example: i sold a ballack today for 7.5k... as i got it for 2k, also notice my sig asking to buy 4411 cards, i had people asking me for like 7 or 8k each when i find them for 2k yet in the front couple pages of the trade market i seen people bidding on them for 7 or 8k...
