Help please! (getting latest FIFA 09 squad update)

After being overwhelmingly disappointed for the last month, and aggrieved at the shambles that is FIFA 10, and particularly it's unfinished bugfest that is it's Management Mode, I've decided to bin the game and bought a pre-owned copy of FIFA09 again.

The thing is, when I had my own brand new copy of '09, I had the latest squad update, gotten from the free Live update feature, and entered the code on the back of my instructions, as that was apparently the only way.

With this pre-owned copy I've just bought, I can't do the above as it says the code is invalid, or already been used. I don't want to use the squads out of the box, because the latest '09 squad update also altered a lot of player stats making some players as good as they should be, or not so good, as the case maybe.

I play as Sheffield United in MM and the last squad update was pretty much perfect, whereas the original squad isn't.

Is there a way I can get the latest squad update without having to register to the 'free' Live season and have to enter a code again (which doesn't work).

You do realise the Live Season from FIFA09 ended in May, right?
