Hello everyone,
I've recently moved into my new house at Uni and have also had a wireless connection set up with Virgin Media. The connection to my Xbox is fine; it shows four green bars. The Xbox menus seem slightly laggy but it's nothing I haven't experienced before at home. However, when I attempt to play an online Head-to-Head match I cannot download the "roster updates." I seem to wait for five minutes and then get told that "You are unable to download the roster at the current moment in time. Would you like to try again." Either that or I get signed out from the EA servers. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? I have asked my housemate (who knows a lot about connection problems) about port fowarding but apparently Virgin Media is very compatible with online gaming. Any help would be much appreiciated.

Similar issue, however for me i am able to connect to XL, however whenever i go onto the fifa 10 game i am disconnected from live, i reconnect and go onto xbox live mode only to not be able to connect to the EA servers and once again be disconnected from XL.
Any ideas why this may be happening? I too run on virgin media. |
