Fifa 09 MM hangs on 15% Simulation

Hi,

I'm in my second season, and I just passed the ECC group stages. I sim the matches that I find too easy, but for some reason the transfer window opened during the ECC. So, I though "What the heck" and bidded for K Benzema. I was about to play Tottenham at the time (I'm Arsenal currently*), and I really wanted to play them and thrash them (

)...but then after the game (I won 2-1 World class), it simulated but this time it got stuck on 15% of simulation. I restarted the game/PS3 several times and it still does this. I have seen other threads with this, but they were from long ago and I suspect there'll be an update/patch/solution for it?

Long story short, I never got to find out if I got Lyon's K. Benzema from my bid.

And..I got Arsenal to 5 stars and several players to very high overalls. I don't want all my hard hard work gone to utter waste.

ANY help would be great! Thanks in advanced.

I know how you feel man in my 4th season as Arsenal Match Day 9 I had strangely also bet for K. Benzema and I was playing Tottenham. It stopped on %42 though and i have done 15 seasons with Arsenal in a different MM before without any freezing so I am stumped as too why it happens. Must be random.
