Im officially done with fifa 09 online

thanks everybody, im [Removed by Adroit - swearing] done. ive had enough of this [Removed by Adroit - swearing] and im quitting now because i cannot stand the [Removed by Adroit - swearing].

dream teams, glitches, 9 defenders, keepers holding the ball for 20-30 minutes at a time without me being able to do anything, and most of all these [Removed by Adroit - swearing]hacks celebrate with the SHHHHHHH celebration when they score one piece of [Removed by Adroit - swearing] goal.

ive had enough, anyone will know if you've played me i am a VERY FAIR PLAYER. i take pride in achieving a season high rank of 840th in the world using ONLY LIVERPOOL. no hacks, no corner glitches, no half way glitches, no dream teams, NOTHING!

i have beaten dream team [Removed by Adroit - swearing] with my trusty 84-79-79 (4 and a half star) default liverpool squad, but they are just collectively too strong for me. i come up against a real madrid side who is only half a star, with players all wearing yellow boots and Luca Toni outrunning the likes of fernando torres in defence.

these hackers have reached new lows, and im in the process of throwing this piece of lalalala game into the bin. ive had enough, thanks EA for a bugged piece of [Removed by Adroit - swearing], it was the most demoralising game. it promoted hackers, and they got away with every single [Removed by Adroit - swearing] thing. i play honestly, and what do i get? Personal messages from the dream team hackers saying "HAHAHAHAHA BYE BYE!!!! AHHHHH I WIN YOU LOSER" (half of them cannot speak english properly).

im sure, if you've played me (homblooie_lfc) you will realise i am a fair player, i play possession, i try to play real football, but ive ultimatley been outdone by the exploits of the game. i will never play fifa 09 again unless its with mates at a gathering or something. online, manager mode, anything, im done.

i hope fifa 10 is [Removed by Adroit - swearing] good coz fifa 09 has driven me up the wall.

I don't really see the hate into the dreamteams, you can clearly see it at the beginning screen, why would you continue playing then? It's like you'd like to beat them by your own strength to teach them a lesson (which is understandable), but when you lose you cry over it on a forum?

your kidding yourself if you've actually faced a real team in that quadrant of the ranking boards. either i play people who dont improve my rank or i play dream teamers. this is my problem mate, of course i know theres a dream team piece of [Removed by Adroit - swearing] coming on, and i do want to prove myself against them, and i have in the past. however now they are making their own players who are 7ft tall and faster than the speed of light.

i understand that, thats a fair comment then.

but still, when ur playing in the top 900/800, there are no more fair players. what am i supposed to do? pretty soon the top 1500 will be hacking, then top 2000...its just lalalala, theres no more competitiveness, just a bunch of cheaters playing each other.

I was Top 300 myself on the Playstation 3, and i never had to much trouble finding games with normal teams. Infact, i think i came across a dreamteam 1 out of 10 max. Now i recently switched to the Xbox so i have to start from scratch again, but i think we all blow this out of popertion, i never come across people with a dreamteam and when i do i just simply quit.

At this point with the dream team glitch,if they really cant fix it til fifa 10, i just dont see why a this poin Ea dont just open up the game to every1 and say bugger it, its this last few weeks of this games cycle before fifa 10 comes out were gonna open it upto every1 mess about with the game do what you want make ur own dream team, put the new transfers on for your favourite clubs etc, at this point i dont really care about my skill points or whatever i jus wanna have some fun it may not be a popular opinion but i wouldnt mind playing a world xi vs world xi game , but i dont wana go the all the hassle of doing a glitch and plus its an exploit and it would just feel wrong. I mean with my idea they would at least save some face with the community instead of being all silent acting like they dont care.

Wasn't the most eloquent way of putting it, but I do agree with the OP. I can't get over how many people seem obsessed with winning and gloating in 09. I would say most people out there still want a good game, but an increasing number of people just do despicable things that completely take the fun out of it for the opposing player.
I'll never understand people who go for kickoff goals, and especially not those who intercept short goal-kicks and put the ball in the empty net EVEN when they already have a 2-0 lead. And I don't understand people who use the dream team glitch without telling their opponent- seriously if someone said to me 'mind if I use a dream team?' before a game, I'd relish the challenge provided they weren't skill level 20+; but without warning, and especially when I select a 1-star team, I feel totally cheated and wonder how on earth the other player could possibly think that I'm a willing participant.
And I really really hope that EA remove the celebrations ASAP. I appreciate that they were just trying to be creative, fun and innovative... but it's gotten completely out of hand. The sole purpose of celebrations nowadays is to deflate and belittle your opponent. I see soooo many posts here describing how frustrated players are about others celebrating against them, and other posts where players seem to be saying that the reason they celebrate is purely to get at the opposition. This is the reason a lot of people use the same, almost 'personal' and rather attacking celebrations- the Shhhhhh and Pardon?. EA you need to remove these... professional footballers are paid to tolerate such behaviour, and taught to respect the opposition better; but unfortunately testosterone-charged young males playing FIFA are not mature enough and this totally ruins the game for me.

I've played well over 1000 games of 09 online, and it doesn't come close to comparing to the enjoyment I got out of 08. The moment I first played the 09 demo my heart sank (I know I'm over exaggerating, but it was a serious disappointment). To all those saying I take FIFA09 too seriously, I'd almost be tempted to argue the opposite! All I want is a game without immaturity, unfairness and significant glitches completely ruining any attempt I make at enjoying FIFA.

I completely agree. EA are being Wallads, people would respect them if they said" Look we have the glitch on, we won't be fixing it as we are working on Fifa 10, the glitch has been fixed for Fifa 10, I gaurantee everyone would be alright. I know how you feel being ranked highly so you look for other high people but those Wallads have loved the wallady rank so much they use the dream team glitch. Mate I just play for fun.

Fifa09 has been wrecked, fifa08 was alot better because there was not so many boosters and there was 0, of these sad sad.... glitches.

Fifa10 need to put a stop to this is as the leaderboards dont mean nothing no more due to the accessive cheating

I totally agree with gxanthis im ranked in the top 600 and i have never used any glitches etc, its just so frustrating when you are playing and not getting any points because all the people that are not good at the game are playing with a half star team and gaining hundreds,its just sad if cheaters go to that extent for cheating in fifa10 they will be looking for any chance to exploit it as much as they can

I have always liked fifa i was skill level 31 in fifa08 skill level 30 in 09, i hardly play it now coz online is ruined, Boosters mainly lol......... Next year gxanthis i sujjest u just play online casualy but go for the big prizes in fifa such as the Fiwc on the ps3 thats got a small minority of cheats im not suprised coz if you qualify your playing for £13,500,a car,Trip to world player year awards check it out m8 im doing that next year Good luck.

Play your friends on unranked. This is a game after all. I used to curse and swear everyone, but found that it was all in vain. FIFA is a 3+ game with a gamer base mentality to follow suit. Amongst the vast amount of people I've played online I've only found a few dozen people sharing my view of what makes a good game. The rest either spam through-balls, abuse glitches or talk/text abuse.

I'm looking forward to FIFA 10, but I'll probably end up playing against that same core of football fans that I do today. Every ranked tournament online is ok'ish the first week or two until the button-bashers and exploiters enter.
