EA - Just patch it and have done!!!

Are they really going to release one of Fifa 10's features in 09 - meaning promoting/relegating teams + transfers etc, after confirming “no more squad updates”. Unless the plan is to replay last seasons fixtures. Either way an official response on 'if and when' would be good.

With Fifa 10 only 6 weeks away, It feels like they are just stringing us along with their vague responses. Surely a patch to unlock/delete or change the achievement would be easiest solution for all.

Add me to the list pls. Hopefully resolved this weekend.

Servers go down every Sunday. Don't get too excited. EA are probably waiting until after the transfer window shuts so they can keep the squads up to date.

Any news anyone? I put so much time and effort in getting all the other trophies just to be blocked from the platinum by EA because they closed the damn league. Is this the only game that actively blocks users from a platinum?

i don't need this but i know a lot of my friends would like to have this achievement, as it was glitched, it took me to win 30 games before i got the achievement for winning 5 games, plus i would like if they release a patch for the 10 vs 10 achievement, because it the only achievement i need, and with fifa 10 coming out i find it hard to get 10 people on team let alone another, they could do it for BAP instead of clubs

I've been wondering about this trophy for a while, and finally found this thread! For the last few weeks I've been plowing along towards the Platinum Trophy for FIFA 09 in Manager mode and the tediously slow Be a Pro mode, oblivious to the fact that I'm never going to get it, because of this blerrie trophy!

This is disgraceful by EA. FIFA 10 isn't even out yet, and yet EA are punishing those who are supposedly their core market, those who follow the series, those who put the time and the effort into their games.

Suppose hypothetically that FIFA 10 was released a month or two ago, and EA were to (cynically) say that, because their sequel was out, and that season finished, it would not be unreasonable for them to decline to reopen the interactive leagues on the pretext that their new game is out and their are plenty more chances to get the trophies on it. Sure, it would just be a money-grabbing excuse, but at least their fans would be busy with something else.

But this is just sheer stupidity by EA. There's no logic for it. It's just a brain explosion. There was talk on the official Playstation forum about Sony mandating that no trophies should never be "impossible" for games in development - I hope they do do that, and maybe EA will snap back into reality.

To EA:

Alternatively, why don't they just award everyone the trophy? That way they won't have to waste their precious time and effort to open the leagues!

Hi, unfortunately the Interactive Leagues will not be opening again for FIFA 09. This is because the game is licensed for the 08/09 season and not the 09/10 season.

But why can't you make a patch, which will make the trophy not needed for the platinum trophy.
Because if you will change it into an downloadable content trophy, it won't be necessary for the platinum trophy.
Or can you change it in: Win 5 online matches, instead of interactive league matches.
Since it was glitched for many people, and the trophies were only brought in March, it isn't fair to just give us less than 2 months, and I bought it after the closing of the leagues.
So, people like me can't get the platinum trophy, so please, patch that trophy

well it look like it wont re-open because other people are saying that they dont have a a licence for it so in that case make a patch for it would be the best idea
