Advice on starting a MM with a crappy team needed

Fitness levels=?

And which league would be interesting ?

N I dnt want to choose a top team I want a team like Bradford city but what foriegn team is there equivelant and should I put game speed up to make FIFA last?

League 2 as Notts County is pretty interesting. well as interesting as your going to get in Fifa 09 anyway. put the fitness level no higher than 5. I got them to the Premiership but now im Celtic on Legendary.

Game speed i recommend Slow. the game is even quite fast on that. there isn't much difference between Normal though.

Yeah and if you're playing in England then start no higher than League 1 - it will mean that you also have the chance to win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy that is only available in the lower divisions.

Just spend all the money you start with on fitness levels.

Also,loan deals are very handy. I picked up a lad called Bayal-Sall from St Etienne rated 71 or so and he's a beast. Also got Javi Garcia from Real Madrid. This was my Luton MM.

however judging on recent transfer activity i dont think you would have enough players to play and have to forfeit all your matches and get sacked by november for losing all your games 3-0
