EA's attempt at making Macheda is absolutely pathetic.

I know it's late but I cba to wait until 2010 to be able to use him, can't they release another update?

Your a complete muppet. You think EA should remake him just because you cba to wait until FIFA10? Hes a bad player, and had two 'very' lucky goals this season. No mancs knew about him before his goal against Villa, then they all hit up Wikipedia and now they think they are experts and want his stats to get a huge boost. Typical mancs, no sense of reality.

So he gets two goals, one of which was a complete fluke and is entirely anonymous in the other appearences he makes, yet he deserves a huge boost? His stats are accaurate, he's nothing special. It's just every United fan has a hard-on for him because he scored against Villa, even though Ronaldo bailed them out in that game, yet again, but didn't get the credit because he does it so f'n often.

United fans lalalala me right off sometimes.

Now i agree that he shouldnt be much better than he was on 09, but that part i bolded is just stereotyping. He had been scoring goals pretty consistantly and well for the reserve team and i'd class him about as good as n'gog for liverpool, although fifa stats tell a difference. YES he'll hopefully be better in fifa 10 but not to the point of stupidity, 1 or 2 more ratings higher would be ok, maybe low 70s

Macheda's goal scoring record:
2007 - Youth Team - 21 Apps, 12 goals (more than 1 in 2, which is not bad)
2008 - Reserve Team - 8 Apps, 8 Goals (1 goal per appearence, no need to explain)

Now they may not be the first team but those goal scoring records arent bad, which again supports my hope that he will at least be in the low to mid 70

I agree to some extent. He is a youth player, what to expect? He was created in Fifa way before his heroics and before he became well known, and we shouldnt expect EA to make every player perfect from youth to first team.

two lucky goals doesnt make him a overnight rooney.
there are plenty of players I can think are underated for my team but just cause most people support man united I gurantee EA will lick your balls and give you what you want.

I don't care about stats, I just want things like his height, weight and appearance to be more realistic because I just can't play with him like he is at the moment. I'm stuck with Rooney, Berbatov, Campbell, Giggs & Welbeck.

I just cant see the "he doesnt look real so i cant use him" attitude. seems pretty childish to me.

As people have pointed out, when the game was produced he was a nobody (and still is in my eyes) therefor he got a generic look. Then he scores one good goal and getlalalala by someone elses shot and everyone is toasting him and to top it all off getting worried because he doesnt look real in fifa 09.

Answer me this. If he hadnt played against Villa and Sunderland would we still be having this discussion? Would you still be worried about how he looks?
