I don t think you should buy PES09 because it just plain sucks at every department. And these are the words of a PES veteran for 10 years! Fifa09 is far superior to PES09. With PES you cant even play online due to the damn lagg! Wish we could go back in time and play PES6 on the PS2! Thats imo the best footy game ever made!

i have to say only playing fifa 09 that pes have nothing to learn.
fifa 09 could suck more! there is nothing realistic on fifa.
every attack laying fifa is full of bugs and attackers/defenders doing idiotic things.
no realism in fifa 09. like i said i have never played PES but i KNOW it is etter b ecause fifa 09 has really reach the bottom.

Yeah right. Fifa09 is a lot more realistic than PES09. PES is unrealistic. Example, I saw a Gerrard get a diving header from outside the penalty box-and it was a goal!!!

Also, The graphics. They are horrible. compared to fifa09's. But there are a lot of bad things about fifa09 too. Like a lot of glitches. But because i play BAP mode i have to say fifa is better in BAP mode. other modes i don't care wat u say because i think it pretty much sucks too. But BAP is awesome, and very little glitches (at least for me.)

I have now updated the game with official emblems and kits. I'm also in the progress of editing/testing tweaks of PES 2009 just like I did with FIFA. Luckily, it only takes a few seconds to tweak attributes in PES 2009 because we have great desktop editors even for XBOX 360 option files.

I'm still not done with the testing of the tweaks yet. But with what I've seen so far, this game PES 2009 is just amazing. It's very hard to describe how. THIS IS FOOTBALL!!!
'no' is all u can say?
they both have problems. And i like them both. the only thing better about fifa is the graphics and BaP mode. they are both good games.

Well, I plan to put a detailed (as usual) article on my football-gamer blog on the PES 2009 tweaks.

Is there a broadcast cam perspective in PES09 as it is in FIFA09? Don't like tele in FIFA09.

There are broadcast cams in PES 2009 but the FIFA09 ones are better. I'm happy with the WIDE cam in PES 2009.

Hi blue, thanks for reply! I'm a FIFA09 player from Germany and I appreciated your work for better gameplay in FIFA09, concluding we have similar preferences as regards gameplay. Think that should be enough reason for me to take your vote for PES09 very serious. Maybe I'll test it out soon!

Yes, it'd be really nice to have. And just to have fun with it. Maybe make your rival team's jersey colors hot pink, or something.

No I haven't tried yet. I'm having enough fun in singleplayer, co-op and local multiplayer.

PES 2008 & PES 2009 Killed the brand, mainly because neither played out the box, both had\have terrible lag issues. Fifa 09 was my first ever EA sports game and whatever its weak points are it played out of the box, I paid my money and got to play the game.

I stuck with PES 6 after junking PES 2008, games were getting harder to find so I bought PES 2009, I thought it was a pile of poo, defenders roaming all over, players seem to be on rails running like Benny Hill, just as scripted if not more the Fifa.

I feel robbed of £75+ by Konami for two average if not lalalala games, 2010 need to be very good for me even to consider going back,

Last i checked this is a FIFA forum .. if you wanna go blab about how "good" PES is then lalalala!

And you wonder why FIFA is still the best selling soccer franchise game in the world?... they are like that for a reason.

I played PES2009.... worst game rather play FIFA98 then PES09.

So you release a good game in September and completely 'mess it up' in the following May, way to go EA.
