I don't quite get this. This lengthy praise of PES 2009 comes from someone who spent a massive amount of time and effort into improving FIFA 09, to the point where you claimed the game gave you a random and challenging game each time you picked it up. However, two weeks into PES 2009, you've simply abandoned your previous game?
![]() For me, the customs tactics and player attribute changes you have suggested in your previous posts continue to be a joy to use, and I can't really think how they could be bettered. Are you now unsatisfied with your previous advice? Cheers. |

I rented PES '09 for a week and for the majority of that week I was playing Fifa instead.
Both games have their flaws and strengths but PES just has too many flaws. Personally the graphics are awful, most of the players make it look like you're playing on the PS2 version of PES. Then the speed and while Fifa has a big problem here with how fast the players are, PES has a worse one because the players are too slow and it makes some matches so very boring. I liked become a legend on PES despite it being a rip-off of BaP, I thought it was better than BaP anyway but then Master League brings it down because that is no where near manager mode (Even with all the manager mode glitches). While I believe Fifa is the superior game, I will buy PES if I see it at £15 because its not all bad. |

Just so you know BAL has been around for years, just not in Europe If anything Fifa pinched it from PES but implemenred badly.
I personally think Master League is brilliant very in depth in terms of fatigue etc.

No it's not. The unedited version of the game is very good.
I have now updated the game with official emblems and kits. I'm also in the progress of editing/testing tweaks of PES 2009 just like I did with FIFA. Luckily, it only takes a few seconds to tweak attributes in PES 2009 because we have great desktop editors even for XBOX 360 option files. I'm still not done with the testing of the tweaks yet. But with what I've seen so far, this game PES 2009 is just amazing. It's very hard to describe how. THIS IS FOOTBALL!!! |

i wish you could post some vids man. As a former winning eleven fan i know that franchise has the ability to make good football.
you r on the 360 yes. what device are you using to update your rosters can you give me a quick summary of the process including devices needed thank you P.S--- i edited " positioning " in fifa 09 and that is where the backbone of the problems in fifa start. the acceleration edits and great too, i have never heard you mention it but "positioning" is the key Last edited by SportsguruP; 22-06-2009 at 01:25 PM.. |

I currently own FIFA 09 and PES09 for the PS3, and I do enjoy both games. I generally play FIFA 09 more due to there's more licensed teams and the leagues are fully licensed. Also, the main selling point for me to get PES was for the Champion's League mode, which is the only mode I play on PES.
I don't have a problem with unlicensed teams for the Premier League in PES because on PS3 you can load option files from the internet and have fully licensed teams, kits, players, but not the boots. |

Well, I didn't play around with 'positioning' in FIFA. If editing that has an positive impact, that's very nice to hear. But I have fully been converted to PES 2009 and there's no going back to FIFA 09 now. By the way, I think I'm done with the PES tweaking. It is awesome and there's nothing else I want to do apart from playing PES now. I just hope that PES 2010 and FIFA 10 are equally good titles and EA and Konami have learnt well from each other. |

Fifa can copy the PAUSING system from PES. It just sucks when the other team pauses the game in the middle of a tackle. Please EA, pauses only when the ball gets out of the field...

Yes it is but i mean cmon i really think PES was rushed i mean the dribbling u can hardly get in a straight line. Diving never works,Crosses almost everytime go in and the goalkeepers are the worst part They are So good at least in fifa it looks like they try to save it |

1. XBOX 360 (unmodded) + PES 2009 2. Datel Max Transfer Kit 3. One 64MB memory card 4. A good, updated OPTION FILE for 'your version' of PES 2009 5. PES 2009 Editor v2.8 6. Xport360 software 7. Exploder_Resigner software You can check the PES forums for the detailed guide. All this might look like a lengthy process but it is not. I've done trial and error tweaks about 2 dozen times in the last 2 days. Enjoy! |
