Pro Season Problem

I am having a problem while playing pro season.

I'm in my second season and I have made it to the first team.

The problem is most of the first team is missing and I'm stuck with reserves.

How can I correct this?

It is the Managers call, he usually rotates the players around often.
I get this also in most of my BAP seasons.

I am using Lampard on one, and i can never choose from the entire squad.
Joe Cole, is always on reserves, as is Malouda and Mikel, and even though I am captain they are never in the first squad.

So your saying even though I am the captain of the first team, I don't have full control over my squad.

That its the manager's choice who I have available for each match.

Had this happen to me quite alot, I got a red card one match and when I came back all the best players were back.

So, get a red card and they'll hopefully come back lol..

Well, that is what happens to me.
So, yes, I have to make that assumption.
Personally, I would rather the manager work the sub's as well as the teams, cos I really can't be bothered with team rotation sometimes.
