PS3 - 10 v 10 Trophy signup thread

Hi,

Arranging a 10 vs 10 game on the PS3 to get the Duo-Hedgeidecimal trophy. 9pm on 12th April 2009.

***** RESULT UPDATE - WE DID IT !!! - See below *****

This will be done by creating two Fifa Club Teams

1) DUO TEAM ONE
2) DUO TEAM 2

We are looking to arrange the game for 9pm on Sunday 12th April (Subject to getting 20 players). The team managers will be the PSN IDs "PSN_STEVE" (Myself) and "LUKE_76".

Please reply on this thread or through the PSN network friends list if you would like to be invited to a team.

Please only request an invite if you can make the game at 9pm UK BST (additional attempts will be made from this time).

We need at least 20 players - additional players will be added to reserve list if over-subscribed.

Please keep an eye on this thread for Team updates. Check here at 8pm on the day to confirm teams.

Rules -
1) You must be able to make the allocated time of 9pm (1st attempt on Sunday 12th April) if you request an invite.
2) The games will be started by the team managers only - this is important as we will sync the startup of the game to ensure the teams play each other.
3) Please state your PSN ID clearly when requesting an invite.
4) Final teams will be confirmed at 8pm on the day. Subs please check teams incase of late replacement.

Game Arrangements -
When it comes to the game please remember not to start the game - the managers must start the game. The managers will check the teams both have 10 players in the Dressing Room and start the game at the same time. If the first attempt fails to bring both DUO teams together then everyone will need to quit back to the Dressing Room to try again. We will then keep trying until success.

Well done to all that stuck with it for the 2 or so hours to get the trophy !! The final teams are below. To all others that want to get this please note that we did not match up with each other once in about 2 hours of trying - even when starting the game at the same time over the phone ! In the end we matched up with two other teams who must have been trying at the same time. If you want this you have to be patient......

Hi guys, I'm posting as a member from PS3trophies - The Internets First PS3 Trophy Community! and i came across this thread and have a proposition which may significantly help us in our quest for this trophy.

I've got 3 teams available from the site to play sunday at 11PM (2 hours after your scheduled time). If you guys are willing to wait out 2 hours and jump on at the same time as us lot, theres a good chance we may get into 10 v 10 matches as there would be 5 teams going for the trophy at the same time.

Get back to me, i'll check up on this thread and notify the others, if any of the captains want to agree to this feel free to add my PSN (SimplySupreme) if communication is needed during the time we need the trophy.

Hope we can come to something agreeable, i know this would be very beneficial to us all!

We have enough for 2 teams now. Keep the requests comming as we may also have enought for a third team. Another 3 teams are going for this at 11pm we can join them with the 3rd team.

Ok All,

Team 1 - confirmed and all 10 places taken.
Team 2 - Still some places need to be confirmed - please accept club invites.

Please go online at 8.30pm - we will meetup in a PSN Text Chatroom.

Reserves - Please logon too. We may have to make a last minute invite or 2.

We will also look to get any remaining reserves the trophy later on at 11pm if you can make it. Some of the 8pm players will stick around and help if required.

When it comes to the game please remember not to start a game. The managers will check the teams both have 10 players in the Dressing Room and start the game at the same time. If the first attempt fails to bring both DUO teams together then everyone will need to quit back to the Dressing Room to try again. We will then keep trying until success.
