Finese Shot

When is the best time to use finese shooting ie. r1 + o (ps3)

i try whens its 1v1 with the keeper but seem to have more luck with just power o. i saw on here recenlty that someone said using it for long shots.

Help please, i can get into good postions to be 1v1 with the keeper and then either spoon it or the keeper saves it almost everytime

IMO you are best using it for 1 vs 1 when the keeper is something like 6 yards away from you, if not more. you dont want to do it while you're sprinting, its very hit and miss when you're sprinting. if you have time to slow down a bit to the jog, thats the best time to do it IMO.

think of it more as a skill shot rather than finesse, you cant do skills on the sprint so dont do the finesse shot on the sprint. im lalalala at long range shots but my mates uses it for long range shots and seems to score a few so it maybe worth trying out.

NB: yeah as much as you can do some skills on the sprint, alot require you to not be going full pelt

use it all the time basically. If i find myself with a yard of space outside the box.......i use finesse and score a screamer. it is better than abso power more accurate and the better choice especially if ur jostling wid a defender.

So with the finesse shot its not just a side footed kick then if your able to do long shots with it, you must need power i assume.

I agree newcastle008 1 v 1 seems to be the best option to use it for me i just need to practice it.

I have been using your defence tips from yesterday and have already improved and not conceded for a few games. Defiantly tracking back with a cdm makes all the difference. thanks for that

using it for 1 on 1's are easy because if you place it with your analog stick then it will go in the directed coner you want. and yes it is easy for long shots because it can place them in a top corner.

well it has the accuracy needed for long shots . Basically 5 yards outside the box is the max.
