why can i only play the new updated squads in online ranked mode only i cannot play in unranked or offline quick/exhibition matches
i have tried loading the new file but it only plays the old teams unless i go online ranked games
any help welcome.

What is my ranking...? In my player hub it does not show that I am ranked and in the online leader boards it doesn't either. When I go into the person's player hub that I just beat, though, it shows that I am ranked in the top 5000.So what I am asking is which one is correct if any?

Also, in the online leader boards what is the difference between Fifa 09 and All-Time rankings? Thank you very much for any answers

a few questions here:

1- I created my avatar online but in the game he always appears in his underwear, why?

2- I've bought Live Season for all Leagues and I have it turned on in all options on my settings but when I play a friend the live season is off and when I go to manage teams and play offline the values of the players aren't the same of those online, example:

right now offline:
Burdisso as a RCB is 77
Stankovic as a RDM is 78
Ibra as RS is 89

online:
Burdisso as a RCB is 82
Stankovic as a RDM is 85
Ibra as RS is 96

3- Why is that the changes I make in formation, starting eleven, subs, reserves and player roles in the manage team section of the game don't carry on to the online games? It's very annoying and time consuming to in every match making the same changes, let me save the formation I want to use and apply it immediately to the online squads, let me choose my starting eleven and subs and when I go online it's done, the same for player roles (right now on online I can't change the captin of the team if I want), I understand that the squad files offline can be changed by the user but I guess it's not that complicated to compare the two squads in a team when the online squads are loaded, or at least apply the formations and keep only the right players in position (Ex: if i put C.Ronaldo in FC Porto and set my squad and tactics in the manage team section to include him as a staring 11 or a sub, when I go online and the online squads are loaded and CR7 is not there to occupy the position I choose put in another player of the squad there... that way I only have to make 1 change!!!
PES allows to do this, it's so simple, please do it!!

4- As I said in the point above, at this time I can't change captain of the team in online games in the player role section, so If i play MU and take out G.Neville and put in Rafael, Rafael becomes the team captain... fix this please

5- Quick Tactics, I have setup 3 quick Tactics to use during play, one for normal play, one for more attacking and one for more defensive style of play... I was very happy with this quick tactics being included in the game, it adds so much more dept to the game, but now I realised something that is plain "stupid" when I select one of thos wuick tactics in game by pulling the Left stick (I play d-pad for movement) donw and the in the direction of the disired quick tactic that tactic I choose will only be applyed for a certain amount of time (or at least until I lose the ball or the ball goes out of play) and this way I' constantly having to be selecting the quick tactic I want to use and to me this makes no sense at all! Is there anyway around this? if not please fix this in a next patch, I stopped using the quick tactics because of this, I want to be playing football not constantly hitting the left stick down and left or right to use the tactic I want to be using...
I understand this would happen for the quick instructions (left stick up and then direction) like using the offside trap, or having a CB overlap but this are only instruction for a moment in the game, they are not tactics, instructions=moment tactis=along the time

Sorry for the long post, but I would like someone saying anything about these things

Can you please talk to me about FIWC, tell me when the cheaters will be removed not a soon, i want a time and a date, its a joke, even your staff do it, if you leave them on any longer, i presume its currupt as you just want your work mates to qualify do you???

They have said what they know man.

You gotta understand there are more organisations involved with FIWC then just EA.

After all it is called the FIFA interactive world cup.

Dave said couple of pages ago he will tell us when they are given a date.

So cut them some slack. I know making the FIWC is like waiting for christmas but you just gotta relax and trust it will get sorted out.

I have a serious question,

With all the money and all the connections around the world EA and FIFA have, why on earth is the organisation of such a spectacular tournament such as the Fifa Interactive World Cup sooo appauling, how can it be so bad, i could update the leaderboards faster than you guys

You need to activate ASL (adidas live season, free code in back of fifa 09 manual) to download the offline squad update.

When cheating is concerned for a competition like FIWC, Mr Taylor - FIFA take things very seriously. They're being very careful to remove cheaters fairly...Theres also the small matter of organising a real world cup too going on

Ok, I appreciate that, it will only benefit my self in the end so I guess moaning is not the way forward, but was cheating taken as seriously last year? 3 well known cheats were there with me in Berlin last year
