Arshavin plays very well in the more attacking CM position in the Arsenal lineup, he's only an 80 there but he gets more into the game than when on the wing

Anyone know how to get him to wear the 23 shirt?
I've tried swapping players in and out and what not but can't get him 23.

all you need to do is search for his name in the transfer list.

to change his number, transfer him, then go into player edit and change his number.

and markus parkus is a fool...you heard it here first. arshavin is going to light up the league and our defense will be more solid as well.....THATS RIGHT, an offensive player is going to solidify our defense...

Cheers for the info, I got it another way though.
I transfered in a #13 player (Ballack) then I transfered in Arshavin who went to 23, then I put Ballack back on Chelsea, and Arshavin stayed at 23.

i just played an exhibition game arsenal vs chelsea with arshavin transferred to arsenal and quaresma transferred (loaned) to chelsea. arshavin was man of the match lol rated 9.0. 1 goal (it was a volley), 1 assist, 7 shots 4 on target, 37 passes 25 made. beat chelsea 4-1 on professional difficulty. dont bash me chelsea fans, i'm one of you. i just wanted to try arshavin on arsenal for a match without the injured (walcott, fabregas, rosicky). going to rematch and try quaresma on chelsea now...
