well you say that but even the honest top players are getting mugged off my these no life cheaters, and the way you are backing up I have a feeling you have had a dabble yourself.

Also, They lied to us that this custom teams was fixed in the last patch. If it is then how come people are still using it in the FIWC ?

I dont agree that reset everyone's stats. Ive played with LA galaxy and Reading to get my 3500 points in 2-3 weeks now i dont want them being resetted i've been playing fairly.

what the hell is that i just played a game in fiwc, my oppenent went disconnect/quited, but i got 62 pts deduted and my hub recorded a loss with 0-3...i ensure that i kept online and the message showed the oppenent quited/disconnected...it frustrates me alot

Probably harsh on anyone who's put alot of time and games into getting where they are, but I'm sure if they are genuine and decent, they'll understand the reasons as to why everything has to be reset, because there are cheaters amongst them. And if they are indeed good enough to qualify for the event, they'll do so from any point.

Well, I had my exams in december so i only started playing FIWC from january and i have been playing really hard fairly to get to where i am, I dont want to work my socks off again to earn my points. I mean i havent been cheating so it will be very very unfair if my points were deducted now wont it ?

Agreed, The one to blame for this mess is EA themselves.

Just imagine this, Its the FIWC final, a player is through on goal in the 89th minute the scores are level.. The opponent brings out his goal keeper and the player chips the keeper and it counts as an OWN Goal instead of a proper goal to the player who scored, How embarassing would that be for EA ? I Sincerely hope that something of that sort happens in the FIWC which would humiliate EA sports so that maybe they will put in effort for beta testing for Fifa 10.

i dont understand this yes its a glitch in the game but its still cheating so as it sayes when you register and when you open into fiwc cheaters will be disqualified and banned

Too the others they will never cancel it (too many stakeholders).
They wont reset the stats again. Majority dont use it so why would they have their stats reset because of others, doesnt make sense.

They need to fix it and continue the tournament and apoligise to those felt hard done by...

No way mate, I'm not backing up at all. Cheaters will never win, and that is why I won't cheat. I will admit, in previous games I have "cheated" for a small period of time (but who hasn't?), but the fun wears of really quickly, because it gets boring when you don't play the game properly, and thats why I don't want to cheat in FIFA.

My answer to "Why would EA pay so much money out in prizes + free flights + a car for no monetary gain?" My answer would be that Kia are not paying EA at all, they gave EA a free car.....(or maybe EA bought it???) and this kind of tournament might make someone pick FIFA over PES. I already would of gone for FIFA, I did before I even knew about FIWC, but when you know that EA are investing in prizes to make FIFA a better game, more people will play it.

Another thing I will say is that whilst you can expect people not to cheat (have an upper advantage over others) you cannot expect people not to use the glitches that the game contains.

To be honest, I am not ashamed to try and provoke glitches, and stupid things. When I am behind, I try and score from the half way line. Sometimes I hoof it into the corner flag, and the goalie runs out, and theres a chance he will mess it up and pass it to my player who has an open goal. Even if that own goal glitch happened, I would take it. The general fact is, I know that the person playing me would do the same. FIWC is a dog eat dog world, and whilst I won't cheat, a glitch is something part of the game until its fixed (a cheat is something from outside the game). I won't ***** a glitch until it happens, but when it does happen, I'm happy. Its like on "Golden Balls" (an English game show). The only logical choice is to steal (if both steal the money, no one gets it, if both split, both share it, if one steals and one splits, the stealer gets it. But they don't know what eachother will pick, but they can discuss/lie before picking). If you split (be kind) there is a massive chance that you will get fk'd over (in Fifa terms, if you don't go for the win, the other person will probably not hesistate too). When you split, at the best you are going to share the winnings (not as good a result as it could of been, you might even lose because of it!). If you steal, you either get everything, or you lose everything, but you would of lost it anyway, if you act nicely do you think that rubs off on other gamers?? It really doesn't, and that is why I use glitches to my advantage.
