Scoring via outpacing the defense needed is a relatively skillless way to score and in my opinion was due to be nerfed. If that's how you play your football then shame on you. Work on your short passes, crossing and
also through balls - not just one thing. That's how it is in real life and that's how EA should strive to make it. If you feel like you can't score work on your tactics and other methods of attack.
I do however agree with you on the tackling. I've posted elsewhere about slide tackles which completely miss the ball and knock my player off his feet and receive no call from the referee. Also I have posted about the "rugby" tackles you are describing - my player gets manual "tackled" off the ball (knocked completely over from behind) in his own box only to see play continue.
