I'm fairly new to manual but I'm picking it up slowly and loving it (apart from shooting! Damn it's hard!)

In my so far limited experience all the formations I've played with work well, just gotta learn how to use em mate. It'll make you more diverse.

Theres no "best"!!! find ur own.. Find a formation who suits ur owwn skills!! Or du as anyone ells and play 4-4-2 with Ronaldo on top!! LOL

5-4-1 with ronaldo up front and counter attack tactic is the best formation.
