Default PETITION: FIWC Live event in IRELAND

FIFA is big in Ireland and with such a large percentage playing it out of the population between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, its about time we got a live qualification event for FIWC. There are also a significant number of Irish gamers well up in the FIWC and online rank leaderboards.

So if you are based in Ireland and would like to experience a live FIWC qualification event either in Dublin or Belfast (or any other location, feel free to nominate!! ), sign the petition and put the link into your signature to ensure we get all Irish people from these forums signed into here.

we're all the same, oh well!!

Here's a question to throw into the mix:
What would make an Irish event unique to all others worldwide?

Bags of cans allowed at venue and a load of scobies trying to rob the PS3's and Xboxes lol

I think FIWC is PS3 only, but I do see your point. Besides, they'd probably pass on the XBOX's anyway ...only messing

My reckoning about a unique Irish event is 1 green-leprechaun hat and 4-pack of McCaffereys cider OR Dutch Gold mandatory per person (latter to be consumed during event registration in front of judging personnel for 2 free goals each first round match - **** the hardest-shot thing with the small goal posts, it would be more entertaining to see a load of drunks trying to play the PS3 while putting every effort into staying stood up straight!!

...Of course, this is just banter in case anyone is taking it seriously

When you consider that Ireland have one, who are similiar to the situation of New Zealand, maybe Ireland should have one.

But it depends, do they deserve their own space in the tourney, probably someone from England would go and take the spot.

Probably, but just like an Irish person could take the English spot...

Its irrelevant really who wins and where they're from, its all about having the opportunity and experience close to home for the interested gamers

how's that not fair? actually london gets 3 more qualifiers for the "uk final" over ireland, scotland etc. that is laughable.

Give over will ya!! I'm sure if this was a petition for a 2nd one in Britain, you wouldn't be whinging at all - there wouldn't be anything unfair about it whatsoever! Just because the petition is for one in Ireland (which technically isn't completely in the UK either!!), you have to sulk and call it unfair? Get outta here...

Either way, is that a sign?!
