how come this happens....

i just started playing online so im very lowly ranked, but im having a big problem.

the last 3 games i've played, i've been leading very late, then all of the sudden it says my opponents connection has been lost, and i dont get a win for this. weird, this never happens when im losing. are these people quitting? and if they are why am i not getting wins for these? it's hard to get wins when i can never finish a friggin game.

some people may be ****ed because they're getting schooled by a low ranked player but i have played this game a long time offline, so i think im at least pretty decent. does any other newbies to online have this same problem?

yeh i basicly just started online and im not that good at all but i never quit even when im losing 5-0 maybe we could have a game wot is your psn name

You should get the win if they do quit though, sometimes takes a while to register though.

I just played 5 games in a row and had people quitting on me when I take more than a 2 goal lead. One of them quit in the 88th minute for crying out loud!

Anyone who never quits games and would like to play against a fellow non-quitting non-Man U-using player, add me: Leo5445

yeh same thing happened 2 me. i won this guy 5-0 and he quiit at the end of the match where it shows highlights... (like this guy has no patients and can't press X a couple of times)... i didnt get the win.

I have had this problem LOADS the last few days - pi*s take isnt it? spoils it.

Anyways, i asked about it, and a guy called DOA on here, really helpfull.

if u on 360 like me, when the message comes up, do not press the A button. Press the xbox button on ure control and look at the guys status (when u press the button, go to friends, and then scroll right to the end - the guy u played will be top of the list). wait until his status changes from the game u was playing (e.g - man u 1 - chelsea 0) to somthing like, navagating menu, or offline or summot.

Then click back to the game and press ok on the message.

I've not managed to try this yet, but im assured that the game knows that he quit, and u are awarded with a 3 - 0.... usefull when ure score is only 4,000 at the moment, and u just beat a 1 million score player 7-1

Wot about on PS3, how do you get round it on that so that it records you as having the win??

im not sure bro, not played on it on ps3.

but i am sure that it has the same sort of set up... does the controller have a ps3 logo that u can press?? im sure there is summot that u can see ure opponants status?

much like on xbox, if u go to ure friends list, and scroll, u shud be able to see ure last played player...... have a look around before u enter a match

I had this happen twice to me this morning. its so frustrating if you wait a while you get the win... but i take it you dont get any stats? u almost dont want to score to many in fear of them quitting. saying that people who do quit will get a bad DNF % and wont be able to play in certain matches/leuages etc
