Help with ALS for ranked matches

For some reason the ALS is not working properly for me for ranked/unranked online matches. When I start the game in the squad screen it shows their updated ratings and form arrows, but during the game if I go to squad all it shows are their default ratings and the form arrow. I do have ALS enabled in the settings screen. It works on kick off exhibition modes but not for online. Anybody have any idea how to fix this???

This is for the EPL btw.
