goalkeeper intelligence - needs improving!

i'm sure you'd agree, the goalkeeper intelligence still isn't upto what it could potentially become.

i wonder what happened to improved goalkeeper intelligence? so far tonight, my goalkeeper has been really suspect, i just lost 4-0 to somebody online using a 4-5-1 formation. and in all the goals i lost, my goalkeeper seems to have no pride in defending his goals.

3 of the goals were caused by the cutback scenario and of course the goalkeeper doesn't shift his bum quickly enough so obviously the opposition has all the time in the world to score!

the last goal was because he dived the wrong way.

please let the goalkeepers have more work for fifa 2010, the majority of the goals in this game are all the same if i'm honest so it'd be nice to have a proper personal battle with the keeper to get a goal!

anyone agree?

Yeah anything from amatuer to pro the keeper does seem to lack quality just bang it up to world class!

yeah, the goalie just sits there sometimes while the ball rolls in front of him. i wish they would make the gks more agressive.

Usually when the dive the wrong way it's because of a deflection, but Cristiano is right. Move up difficulty they do get a little better.

Has anyone else had their goal keeper just rush of his line even when you didn't press for him to do it? I was playing at Tottenham and my keeper ran to the edge of the box to get the ball, then he mis controlled it then the Tottenham player just scored into the empty net. i lost 0-1. most infuriating.
