Default Is Fifa 2009 better than Pro Evo 9?

I played a demo of pes and i own fifa although i do quite like the physics and the pitch sizes on pro evo... the reason i ask this is because pes seems to have a very big fan base...

why is fifa 09 better or is it better at all?

Fifa 09 > Pro Evo 6 > Fifa 08 > Pro Evo 2009

Pro Evo 6 for PS2 was amazing though.

True. I still find a few things in PES2008 that I prefer over FIFA09, namely the keeper rush out, in PES the keeper reacts way faster.

Well at least nobody abused them in PES2008 Ronaldo was quite easy to stop. Eto'o and Adriano were real monsters though.

PES was king in the ps2 days. It's in the tomb now. I was a hardcore pes fan. fifa 09 is miles ahead now.

This year is slightly better online than PES2008 but gameplay is far from a PES6 route they were...

The biggest irony of all is that they made PES2008 CG verison for PS2 users to make them switch to NG versions on PS3/PC/Xbox and it comes that PES2008@PS2 was the best game in last three years that KONAMI released ever

PES 06 is dated but was a lot harder to master than FIFA 09 but the two are pretty close on gameplay, bought PES 08 hardly played, then PES 09 was worse than 08, thought I would try FIFA and converted, but I never in 1500 games on PES 06 got as high as 60% win percentage...

Well in my opinion, Pes 06 is the best on PS2 (current gen etc).

Back to the question, i think Fifa 09 is better. Had tried PES 09 demo. Even though with Exclusive UEFA Champions League in PES 09 + so called Overhaul.

Not meant to insult but just disappointing. PES 08 was not that good, and Seabass announced will be a Overhaul in PES 09,then in the end..it's Just the same...
