Game Freezes on the start screen

Hello there i was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as me.

Most of the time when i first load up fifa 09 and it says press start it will freeze so i have to re start the console and the majority of the time it works after this.

But what i have also noticed is that if i sign out of xbox live and press start it works fine. Can anyone kindly tell me what the problem is here and how i can fix it if at all.

well, its been dealing with the same problem few days now. My fix is just sign out your xbox live account. Log in fifa, and after that log-in live account again ----> there you go. I guess the fifa server causes that because it happend after i created EAFW avatar. hope it help. cheers

I have a fix for this...mine was doing this at the loading arena screen before a match started!

Well my issue was my wireless adapter..i removed it and plugged the ethernet in...works perfectly everytime now!
