Fifa 09 freezing, please help!!!!!

I have been playing fifa 09 on my xbox since released and i am in year 2015 on my manager mode. I am going to play my next game and the game freezes on the "loading please wait" screen. I have tried to sim the game however the same thing happens. My console is only a few months old as fifa seemed to kill my last one which was about 2 years old.

I am going to try deleting the game and re-installing as i have read that may fix the problem. If this faisl i am really looking for some advice from anybody who has had the same problem and how to resolve it.

I can play all other games on fifa fine and have since started a new manager mode fine. I am wondering if the game has become corrupt but cnat work out if the problem is with the disc, hard drive or reader.

Any help would be gratefully received.

That's what i was thinking but as i don't have a receipt for the original purchase i'll probably need to speak to ea about a replacement.

if you kept the receit then you should be ok, just take it back to where you got it from

i would be gutted if it did as the console is only a couple of months old. I can understand my last console doing it as it was 2 years old but not this one.

This has been the only time it has frozen since i got it and in the same place every time.

I have a similar problem with mine. Mine freezes at the loading screen that has the percentages. I've replaced the disk, logged on and off.

I'm now in the process of reinstalling it. Don't think it will work though.

For the people with freezed games, did you have a created player in the game mode? I started a manager mode, tournament mode etc. with a created player, which has 99 from be a pro, all those games freezed eventually, some in the first few seasons (manager mode), in tournament modes it freezed on me a few times during the quarter finals semi etc.

that might be the problem.... ever since then i haven't played any modes with my created player and it has been working fine

Thanks for your suggestions. But it's not much good is it? By this I mean, that I shouldn't have to go without my custom player.

Anyone fixed this yet, minee started last night, only seemed to it on invited games locked on the arena bit just be for the tactics come up in the left hand corner in 1v1 online, happen twic in game when changing tactics.

I have deleted all fifa stuff off the hard drive and my gamer id and it still done it once more.

I have the same problem which wrote topic starter.
This problem have not resolved yet ?

I've made a call to Russian support of EA, but they didnt know anything about it. But I know many people who cant play because of it

I had the same problem, it sounds like your saved file is corrupted! Mine kept freezing in the same place every time!

The only way u'll get round it is to delete your saved game off your hard drive and start a new game!

I know, it sucks but thats EA SPORTS for you!!

Someone on this thread previously said that a created player might be that cause. So i deleted both my created players and my manager mode worked again. Previously i couldnt even start a manager mode it would freeze when initially loading. Please try this and see if it works.
