***The Crossbar Challenge***

I challenge all of you guys to a crossbar challenge.

Rules are you have to shoot from 40+ yards with your Arena player then post a vid.

Near misses are welcomed to post if you like lol.

A free-kick is also legal as long as its from the distance.

sounds like a fun challenge, i'll be on it as soon as I can. How far out is 40yds tho? like the center circle?

if you use Ronaldinho in arena mode there is a cheat in fifa09 ( a mark on every pitch inside the centre circle) and if you put the ball on this mark (dribbling to it) and then left/right on the dpad to change to freekick mode you can hit the crossbar from inside the centre circle everytime... Ronaldinho can hit the crossbar twice with one shot!!

put the ball on the mark

change to free kick mode

hold X/square button to power up to just past the last inner mark on the power bar...

while holding down on left stick for after touch


im sure everyone knows this thats why no one is posting videos.

ps. you need a hi res screen to see the mark clearly (my mates tv is blurry and its really difficult to stop the ball on the mark)

ey man i did it I just need to capture it with my cam before trying to upload cause last time I tried uploading it froze my ps3 and never uploaded anything.

lol at first I thought it was the keeper that punched it back out but then I thought no sensible keeper would punch a ball back onto the penalty spot like that they would tap it over so I checked a replay just to be sure and it was actually the crossbar I hit.

Why aren't more people trying this? its a fun little diversion
