yip its still a problem. played a few games today and its back with a big huge shocking bang. when rutter replied he said that he had checked with the gamer people and they confirmed that there was definatley no momentum changes whatsoever. right well what about the servers then. there is still a problem so we have to go back and ask about what the problem could be. lets not suggest the problem cos he will just say ....nope its not that....lets ask what the problem could be.

also the best proof there is would be an actual video of this happening. is there any of us with a camera so we can video one of these games and then show him exactly whats going on. it has to be a server issue

all camera / video footage will do is demonstrate the symptoms being raised, but won't proove the cause of them.

So the issues have now gone?

To me, it seemed like Fifa 07, where you had momentum i think they called it where if your team had full bar and the other had very low, you get destroyed because nothing can halalalalala it possible they have added this to 09 only not showing you the progress thoughout the game?

if there was a bar indicating the team's momentum, it still doesn't explain why the game appears laggy, with 1-2 second delays between the controller action and that of the player on the screen... thats connection related. and when it happens for 2 months on the same account yet on different connections and from different peers, thats definitely not just one connection - its server related.

YESTERDAY was RIDICULOUS!

It was the WORST day ever!

I played with Juve, my opponent with ManU.
what he did the whole match was: pass to C.Ronaldo in the midfield. i had 4 defenders + 1 deep cdm. so he tried to run ******* STRAIGHT through my defense. i though, what a noob and pressed LT+A to block his way.
But you know what happened? he just run through my defender, as if there was no one standing there. he keeped running straight. so i tried with the next Defender LT+A to block his way, but he run straight through him again. i run out with the keeper, but he EVEN RUN THROUGH MY DAMN KEEPER!!!!! AND MY KEEPER WAS BUFFON with 95!!!!!!

I WAS SHOCKED!!!

He keeped this on, the whole game, i got a red card because i was so frustrated and lost the game 5:2 in the end >: (.

After this game, i had another one against ManU and it was the ******* same damn joke.

and THEN i played against Chelsea... it was HILARIOUS.
he tried a pass to drogba, inside my box, but i knew he would do it and my defender was right in front of drogba and the pass came directly his way. so i pressed LT+A to block him, if he should recive the ball, but you know what happened? DROGBA ****ing run STRAIGHT THROUGH my defender, as if there was no one standing there, recived the ball, and scored! He did it 2 times in a row, it was a joke!!

HOW can strikers run through defenders???? Is this a bug?? what the hell is this?? i would understand if i had charged with RT+A at full speed and get outplayed, but i did LT+A to BLOCK, to BLOCK!!! TO BLOCK so hi cant run straight anymore and have to move to the side or something. BUT HE STILL RUN STRAIGHT THROUGH MY DEFENDER AS IF NOONE WAS THERE!!!!

Also, if it isnt momentum its something WORSE than momentum which is programmed into the game!

I was on the attack, my LM had the ball, i was running, just wanted to pass the ball, but THEN he STOPED! he just STOPED and didnt move anymore. so the opponent got the ball and run STRAIGHT again. I charged straight at him with 1 of my defenders with RT+A at full speed. You know what happened? 1m before him, he STOPPED! he just STOPPED and didnt move anymore!!! I run to him with my next defender, but he just smashed my Defender to the ground while running straight, was 1 vs 1 against the keeper, scored.

COME ON guys, this isn´t funny anymore!

^ I think its irrelevant what teams, players and tactics are being used; the servers are obviously hampering online playability outright.

EA Sports needs to stop ****ing around now and fix the bloody thing.

I dont know what happened but im experiencing this again.

Im ranked 70-80 in FIWC. Before the maintainance of the servers i was winning 90% of my games with La Galaxy/HamKam etc etc but now i played i think 15-20 games with alot of different teams and i just cant stop losing !!!. I lost 300 skill points in FIWC because of that. I dont know why i cant seem to win the same tactics which were working before dont seem to work any more everyone seems to be playing alot better then they were before.

From 5000 pts ive gone to 4700 points. Damn.. I even played a game with United because i got frustrated and i went 3-0 down !!! But in the end won the game 5-4 but i didnt get any points for it because im so high ranked that winning with United wont give me any points lol.

Momentum is a natural thing in the game. Us human players do it all the time on fifa. You know when you go a goal down you start to push forward. Or when your a goal up and dominating you will start passing it around and pressuring to kill the game off etc.

I dunno if many people hear play the Online Team Play mode, but I guess I should report that, much like the Ranked and Unranked matches, this happens here as well. Often when people we play don't use 100% P and A, we can pass around and play a real game of soccer. When they do, often they aren't the best players anyway and although it's a bit more difficult, we can manage to counter and basically do what we want.

That part that I emboldened though happened in at least 4 straight games yesterday. When we use Man United, or anyone really, even if their agression and pressure is up to high and double, I normally turn it down as I don't like running people down all the time. I usually wait until they make a mistake and hit em on the counter. But no matter what I did, my backline kept running at their players on their own and sometimes even running into one another like they didn't know where the hell they were at. They couldn't keep their shape for anything.

Furthermore, every deflection turned into a pass for their team. Clearing was impossible as it always seemed to go back to their team and whenever we would get close to their goal (using a ton of combination play and overall smart passing) even if they weren't close to us, they'd close down in two seconds, stick a foot in and get the ball cleanly. I've seen it before and sometimes I (as I usually play ANY) can stop it, and other times it's a no go. It's been happening far too often as of late though. And it's gotten so bad that they'll have like 15 shots on goal to our 4 and then talk **** like we're trash because our slow build-up is crushed at the last second, while they continue to play long assisted throughballs and fire rocket shots from anywhere near the 18-yard box that for some reason HAVE to be parried by our keeper. It really is becoming a joke.

I notice this happens every time EA do something with their servers. Just something changes i dont know what but i cant seem to get a win after they update their servers or whatever they do.

Let's say everyone here feels that everything they do now is completely different, and they lose headers, shots, passes etc. Wouldn't it be the same for your opponent?

So, there's really nothing to complain about. I haven't noticed any difference though.

Thats why its so confusing. I dont know why, but i have never ever lost so many games in one day. 15 played, 1 won. And im level 22 and ranked 80th in FIWC for godsake ! I cant be that bad. I have played around 300 games in FIWC and never experienced what i experienced yesterday.
