Ha it seems a bit crazy to think the game is scripted but with many people experiencing the same problems

I noticed some of these issues as well. To me, it seems as if there's a lag in my controls, e.g. when I push a button it takes my player forever to do the desired action.

Yes had 3200 ish points this morning off work so thought i would have a few games 15 streak dissapeard fast down to 2900ish! Magicseven makes a good point though about the lag issue!

a) My players are now out paced 60% of the time when before it was 40-50% of the time

b) All of the 50-50's in the middle of the pitch I am losing.

c) My passing now seems to have changed completely unless I am 100% accurate with direction and power my passes are now short (sort of like playing in wet weather) or go straight too the opposition.

d) My right stick control is either delayed or doesnt work at all.

e) Shooting.......this is more the keepers getting better though. Now 90% of my shots are going to the keeper or he is now closing them down so quickly

f) My general control feels wrong, my players no matter how delicately I turn or dribble will make 90 degree turns and lose possesion.

g) All of a sudden I am now seeing the same through ball (on ground) slip though my defenders who now run like they are stuck in mud and have no jostle/strength anymore.

I play with assisted passing and shooting (semi shooting) and manual everything else.

I have a reasonable internet connection and my controller works fine. I have nearly 700+ games between club and ranked so am not new to the game and a level of 17.

Is it me or is anyone else feeling that its playing a bit weird since the last time the servers were updated?

I mean I have lost 15 out 20 in the last 2 days which is odd for me i'm not the best but am a bit better than that.

What it looks like is the people I am playing are playing 100% aggression and pressure.

Ideas anyone?

i've had most of these problems since day one a lot of the time it feels like one sided lag. there is definitely something up with this game online last night i used wigan and face someone using fenerbache with no problems and tore his team apart winining 3 - 0 and i was only 1 - 0 up when i went down to ten men then in my next match i used arsenal against barca and lost the game even though arsenal are much better at passing than wigan i could barely string 3 passes together and my players movement was awkward and when i was using the X button to tackle a player instead of tackling the player my player would all of a sudden just stand still instead of running straight towards the attacker and the person i was against wasn't even good he still had a fifa 08 mentality of running to the byline and cutting the ball back

^There's definitely some lag going on. Played one of my friends the other day, and he complained about lag. On my side everything was smooth as silk. I've also got a 10 Mbit SHDSL, so my upload speed clearly ain't hampering performance. Strange...

It got noteably worse after the update. It might be that people are getting tons better, but I sincerily doubt that...

Ronaldo, Kaka and Torres just run past my defense, and jostling is out of the question against them.... Further, these guys make insane shots.. 80 degree angle and still score? 90 degree angle and score? STRAIGHT on the goalkeeper and they still score.

It's like the game has decided that if these players shoot, the goalkeeper will try to avoid the ball.. It's getting frustrating. Ronaldo had 6 shots, and 6 goals in a match against Utd, in which Utd had 6 shots in total....

I've found that my great passes from last week are totally gone. I can't pass to save my life right now, unless I'm Aston Villa for some strange reason......

Yup exactly the same as me. I was on a good run and all of a sudden that was it I can only win 1 in 4 or 5 now and I struggle to keep the score respectable if im honest in fact I just held the ball up when I was 6-0 down to a level one barca player with arsenal on saturday.

It does feel like there is lag in my controller the right stick is useless and as i said i can no longer turn without going 90 degrees yet Clubs matches are fine....

Yup exactly the same. I was walked through and out sprinted countless times last night and saturday. I really did think it was my controller but nope its not.

yeah i know what you mean i have quit games due to lag and the person i quit on sends a message saying why did you quit you lalalala then i reply coz of lag and he sends a message back saying the game was running smooth for him?

Some good points gcooley, it is annoying when you get beat by some level 1 guy who has no idea and it seems as though your players have aged 30 years!!

Yeah I have also seen a "ronaldo" sweet spot where if you shoot from a certain place holding L2 rooney or CR will ALWAYS score......

I am getting a little concerned that there is either some lag that only affects one player, there is an exploit to cause the control issues or EA are handicapping players in certain matches.

Yeah I was handed my *** on a plate all weekend by level ones, score lines that were unbelievable.

I dont win every game but damn I am good enough to keep it to just one or 2 goal beating by good players or noobs.

And the worse thing is it will if I ever can take forever to get back 800 points let alone the ones EA took when they reshuffled the points

Which teams are you people playing with? I only find these problems occuring when I'm using a less than 4* team, like Sunderland sometimes the players don't react at all to crosses et al, I'm like "um, i'm pressing the button here" but no although going by the way Sunderland are playing lately, it's bloody realistic

I also find it in Clubs too recently, takes ages for my player to react and passes aren't going where I want them to

I just initially put it down to the servers being slightly off sometimes, not lag as such but not quite on the ball.

I started off using 4* teams against Bayern and Chelsea this is when I started to see that these 5* teams were now impossible so I moved up to arsenal and liverpool and the same thing.

I then tried a inter and even gulp man u with the same depressing result.

I blame the update I blame it for messing up the Dressing Room, all seven or eight of them, too

too much of a coincidence. They couldn't just fix crab walking they had to go and tinker with other stuff too

Your team is way more popular than ours.......we just have 3 dressing rooms (or are the virtual padded cells??)

I actually agree with you and think there has been a considerable amount of changes. I think they had to do stuff with controllers, animations and AI to get rid of it. I also think that they thought while we are in to our neck in the code lets do some fine tunning.

Its just odd. Very very odd.

I know I am coming over like a whingy school boy but I accept all of my 188 losses with good grace and mild swearing. Now I am just annnoyed because I feel like I am playing 2 people........the other player and the AI.

Well for the PC a few weeks back they changed CPU setting to World Class.

I remember on Thanksgiving playing a few games before I went to bed. I went two goals, two goals, three goals, two assist in BAP online.

Then I get on like three or four days later and I am having trouble getting goal or assist number one.

I didn't DL a game update, but the game to me feels like the CPU rating has been changed. Its just harder all of the sudden I dunno though.

I'm up for a game on xbox Gcooley, maybe I can give you some input.

If it's lag theres usually no doubt, you notice it very quickly that button clicks take 1-3 seconds to register. And lag makes your play absolute rubbish.

I have a hunch your just having a bad spree. My ascend up the ranks usually goes two steps forward, two steps backward, three steps forward, two steps backward. It's kinda volatile but theres a positive trend

Yeah I have bad runs but its not so much the results but the way the game is playing.

It is definately different or wrong. Like I said club matches are fine offline is fine but as soon as i go ranked it just doesnt respond the same way

100% agree definately think the knock on doesnt always work anymore even get the odd issue offline but its more prevalent online!

This is exactly what I was complaining about when I was vexed the other night Glen. I have never had such a difficult game of fifa in my life, i couldn't even get out of my own half, if i did it was via route one! Everything I did was delayed, player selection was weird, passes were going everywhere - I even checked to see if i still had manual passing on because it was so bad.

Exactly the same every game for me from friday night.

There is something going on that is for sure.
