How do you make a through ball with the outside of your foot?

I've done it once. How do you make the through ball with the outside of the foot so it curves?

its just random. it depends on the situation and angle of the run and the passer, and also who the passer is. if it is a skilled passer they will do it more often, for example fabregas does it quite often.

It's random, but it probably happens too much, considering how rare it actually occurs in real football.

I think i get more of these kind of through balls with Y + RB, probably is just my imagination but i use a lot RB for shooting to the goal and sometimes i "accidentally" use it for thru balls and i've been getting more of them more often lately, specially with players with high passing abilities (for example david silva, i use valencia most of the time). anyway probably is just a random thing

they just look fantastic to me

It's another random feature, depending on the positioning, angle etc.

try lt+Y. to do this though you have to watch your pace though. just don't be running too fast when you are doing to do this.

im pretty sure it depends on ur players passing it has to be over 85

there is 200+ players that can do it!

If it makes sense and your player has the skill to do it, he'll do the trivela. It's the same if your coming in on goal in a 45 degree angle from the right and you aim for the far corner of the goal, the finish will almost always be a trivela if you just use the normal shot button and the player has some skill.
