How to download update for PS3?

People are saying the update is out now for PS3 but I have been playing the game today and I never saw any update sign popup. So how do I get the update?

When you sign in to PSN, you will get the prompt.

I must have been signed in if I was playing online right? Or do I have to go to the PS store?

you sign into your PSN and then start the game and it will prompt you to get the download

is it possible to download the update from your pc then transfer it to your ps3?

I wasn't signed in and I got prompted, had to connect to download but ...

Hmmm will try again, maybe I accepted the prompt without even knowing...any way you could check you downloaded the update? I suppose not...

Here's what I did, step by step.

1. Turned on my PS3.

2. Inserted FIFA 09.

3. Clicked OK as prompted.

I started my PS3...turned on FIFA and never got the update prompt. Make sense?

Yeah it does.. it means you're either not connected to PSN or you already have the patch.

What you mean im not connected to PSN...I must be connected because I've played online matches today...right? So maybe I clicked okay without even noticing the prompt..but that means it was a quick download...was it? Anyways I guess Ill just play it out so far actually no crab walking for me so maybe it is downloaded

It was a quick little update. Were you expecting a huge overhaul? hehe

Clear your cache and try updating it again!

Mate, you wouldn't have been able to play online unless you had the same version of the game as everyone else
