Connecting to friends online

Hi, just wondered if anyone has had problems connecting to people on there friends list online, i can connect to anyone in lobbies or on play now mode but when i try to connect to a friend it just says "this game session is no longer available". Does anyone know of why this might be happening?

Help would be much appreciated as it is quite annoying!

Xbox Live >> Play a Friend

Never had an issue.

on ps3, it does not have this but it goes through the hub and messaging service

it comes up that because youre friend has left the the session happens to me all the time lol.

I have yet to try the private session but on player hub it never works nor does it on lobbies, maybe ps3 should have the invite a friend option??
