Default timing runs im sick of my players running into offside from passes.

Am i correct in thinking that if i hit l1 just after i hit the pass button this will time the run correctly? or is there really no way to control the runs properly?

You press L1 (LB on 360) BEFORE you pass.

Every time you press it, another forward player will make a run - you then need to time the pass accordingly

the graphics of them pointing when running this year is great but they do often enough, lag behind and run at wrong times or just not at all

Offsides is a real problem this year. I've been called offsides when even the replay shows me onsides!

I find that your player has to be well onside for play to continue, I've yet to see the attacker get the benefit of the doubt. Also I find that even if you time your through-ball perfectly or even early sometimes there is sometimes a half-second delay and by the time the ball is played he's offside, even if he was onside when you pressed the button! It's as if the game is scripted and the computer is just saying 'er, no , I won't allow that, let's give the other team a goal!'

I can't recall seeing a striker drop off and allow for an overlap either, they'r always looking to burst through the backline, even players like Raul!
