I was a Pro Evo fan up until PES 2006. Then EA / FIFA upped their game and 08 onto 09 is much better than PES.

Without PES, FIFA would not be the great game it is now.

You clown. Until this year, maybe last year, Pro Evo was by far the better game. We've converted at the right time because we aren't dumb fanboys like yourselves, we just want to play the best game.

yup - up till this year EVO was the best. fifa was pants last year (well, the demo was anyway)

to be honest before evo i was into fifa - fifa 95 was it? - the first one on the playstation 1.... but the silly score from anywhere put us all off...

plus up until this fifa tactics etc have been poor... where evo isnt that bad (still much better in some places)

I actually played FIFA in 1993 on Megadrive but 1995 was my favourite for some reason

well hes an arsenal fan for one thing....says alot!

well i was a pro evo fan for many years, it has always been much more realistic and a much better footballing game, although i have always bought fifa as well!...just in case it was good, but year after year it was pants...pro was far superior right up untill pes2008...now im on fifa 09 and apart from all the lil bugs and the fact my xbox tells me the disk is dirty once or twice a day..(ps3 here i come) it is a very very good game...

I never have that dirty disc thing but others have said they took it to a game or something and got a layer took off the disc with a special machine they have and it solved it

I think this thread is just to cause arguments with other users while it doesn't contribute much to this section. So I'm locking this.

I've seen other threads comparing FIFA to PES, so you can use those, but we encourage you to be more constructive in your posting; If you prefer PES, it would be great to list why that is.
