Default Crossing in FIFA is terrible, please fix it in 2010

Even on manual, it still feels slugish and it's not precise at all. Please do something to make it responsive and useful because is one of the core elments of football...

Crosing in ProEvo feels much better, although it's far from perfect too...

Thanx

I have no problem with the crossing in FIFA. I think it works perfectly.

Set your off the ball players on forward runs and make sure your cross in towards the goal.

Agreed, nothing wrong with the crosses.

I have no problem with the crossing.

At least this year you can get your head on it and win a ball.

I thought 08 was just too biased towards the defending or attacking CPU.

I like corners and how you can put the keeper off and get it to the back stick.

I am not sure if I would change anything about it

I actually think this years manual crossing is the best incarnation of it's kind regardles of which football game you pick. I've never come to utilize it as much as I want to, but the few attempts I get feels very realistic. I wish shooting could use that same algorithm. If I want to shoot the ball to my own 18 yard box, it should go that way.

any of you guys have advice on crosses then?
because my crosses always seem to float to the edge of the area, totally behind all my players

You need to set your passing / crossing to semi assisted.

Make sure when you cross, you push more towards the goal that straight up / back. on a little bit, but make a determined effort to cross the ball in the direction of the goal.

Play unranked and take it as practice. I play mostly ranked, but don't care if i lose. Have lost 900 rank points lately. Back down in the low 400s.

Crossing was perfect in 08, 09 it's horrible unless using the early cross.

Double cross is just about broken and because of this theres a severe lack of diving headers in the game.

absolutely 100% right i can't agree more...
Those of you who don't have problem you proved to be PES Diehard fans " WE NEVER BORED OF DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN" like cut back passes. c i told ya..

no crosses have the cross feel they r more like rockets(fall over your head) so is the shooting at times.
you cant find the attacker is fighting for a header between defenders and at the last sec he find his way to have decent one AND to go in.

in FIFA09: two players Attacker and defender waiting for rocket style ..ok cross.
two possible thing may happen :
1- attacker gets a chance to head it over the bar. not bad..will try again to get right.
2-defender heads it away as far as the box line( how lalalala)..but this one try 4ever and you won't get right.( actually it's not there). so don't bother your self.

I am sorry for this craziness but i hate EA's strategy of wasting our money...
time they take things off so you beg them to bring it back and sell as new add feature.

i bet you next season if they don't advertise for the ability to change kit numbers in the fifa 2010., save goals to hard disk, have more then 4 years be pro season maybe 5..jokking

pay for weekly unfair stats update( pretty CHEAP Ł12), commentary add packege ...more money..more money...

look to ea failure in need4speed undercover....what pay to costumize you car properly.

i am done with that.

08 crossing is so unrealistic, 100% accuracy, good job EA makes it harder this year

Assisted crossing seems to work well, especially with double tap. However i cannot stand playing Assisted with crosses.

If anything, crossing in '09 is far more realistic. In '08, it was arguably the easiest avenue to goal, which should not be the case.

Because it's good to have the freedom to pull it back to a player on the edge of the area for a volley etc. Just autmatically plonking it on somebodies head sucks.

I agree crosses are AWFUL.

On manual, assisted and semi all my crosses go to the edge of the box when I'm aiming in the middle/towards goal.

I thought this but when I worked out how to change the settings I put crossing on semi and the crossing is fine now.

I think the crossing on manual just like real...but the problem is too difficult to cross in fast kick..

Crossing is fine. I'd hate for it to always be on rails again. Also, the pros do miss.
