Default Decent young English talent for MM?

I just started a new Manager Mode as Wolves, and was wondering if anyone knows of any unearthed gems, preferebly English (and before you all call me a Xenophobe, I think the backbone of every team should be home grown, plus Im Danish ), and with a rating of between 60-65 so I have a chance of signing them.

So far Ive managed to pick up Danny Welbeck from Man United (only 17 so Im hoping he developes well) and Mancienne from Chelsea, who seems to be already more than capable of holding his own in the Championship, both for under £500,000.

Rickie Lambert from Bristol Rovers. He's far and away our best player on the game - he's 75 after just under a season for me.

Would be a good back up in the Championship I'd have thought.

You'll be able to sign Marcus Bent on a free after the first season, do it - he's very quick and strong and scored a hatful in the Championship for me.

Then when I got promoted I got Klose and Adriano on frees, both are immense, very good shot power and both quick.

My mate Malcky is from Bristol and he signs Lambert for every team he plays as in Manager Mode, Inter, Man United, Barca, Real, Milan.... Lambert has played for em all Can't believe I forgot about him, cheers.

Just tried to sign Wilshire to my Wolves team, and it said that Arsenal doesn't have enough players on their team, yet they have about 30 players in the squad? If I remember correctly from last year, this used to happen if you tried to sign a player from a rival, i.e. from Liverpool to Manchester United.

Is there some kind of rivalry between Arsenal and Wolves that I don't know about???

Im sorry everyone but there is no decent English talent anywhere. Its an urban legend, a myth. You should try Andorra, more luck there.

Wolves Defense is already pretty good. Most important addition is a LM and a good holding CM/CDM.

Realistic signings between 70-75 for your promotion or ASAP
CM: Craig Gardner/Villa
R/LM: Giles Barnes/Derby
ST: David Nugent/Pompy

On my Wolves MM i try to keep it mostly UK.

Try McCarthy of Hamilton - he's Irish but very young and a good buy. I think he's 70s...

What about Victor Moses from Palace? Or Joe Ledley from Cardiff? (even though he's welsh)

I'm with Leeds and Enevoldsen was my first signing!
I also just signed Joe Ledley... after about 1 and a half seasons Enevoldsen is already on 86

Maybe in the game not in real life though. Gone seriously down hill over the last couple of years.

ied

When I said I wanted English talent, I could probably extend that to British talent. Tried to sign Ledley but was told to phook off by Cardiff, so maybe I'll sign him when I get promoted then sell him to Swansea

Thats the one

I played him in my Carling cup game to give Hennessy a rest and he kept a clean sheet. So he started my next League game and kept another c/s. So, naturally he played the next game and saved a pen and kept another c/s. I think this kid is my new number 1, I can get a few quid for selling hennessey I think.

Wing Players:

Andy Driver - Hearts (Heart of Midlothian) - Very fast Left Winger, one of Heart's best players, and probably one of the best wingers in Scottish football. Scored an absoloute belter in real-life against Falkirk, jinking past 5 players (including the keeper) before nonchalantly passing the ball into the net.

Adam Hammill - Very fast Right Winger, just as pacey as Andy Driver.

West Ham has plenty of young players. Freddie Sears (ST), James Tomkins (CB) are probably the 2 best that will develop the fastest in the game. I still use Tomkins in my team alongside John Terry and Micah Richards.
