How do you change passing to manual?

How do you change passing to manual? It feels like it's on Semi now but full would be great!

Start up a game as usual and it should be in the game settings menu. Not tried this myself but i am pretty sure that's how its done.

More should learn how to use manual controls. You'll really see the game tranform into a real football match. No more of this ping pong stuff that you see with assisted controls. You have to see the player that the pass goes to. Just like in RL.

What really turned me away from assisted is when I saw an online player short pass his way off his own 6 yard line maybe. I was like ***. That would never happen on the real pitch. It would have either been scored by me or would have been cleared by him for a corner or out for a throw.

Some complain about its hard to pass in close quarters but if you use the through pass(triangle-PS3) button instead of the short pass(X-PS3) button, you'll see close quarter passing is definitely more accurate.

You can do it before a game as a temporary fix or you go into MY FIFA 09 and choose controller settings.

Dreday - i have resorted to using the through ball button fro short passes but the most annoying thing is you can't pass and move so a quick one-two is out of the question. manual is flawed, but I love it!
