I'm on 360, so i never saw the supposed "crab-walk" but i still think players side-step way too much, when they could just as easily be jogging. I especially notice it in BAP.

This is so annoying.
If it was a problem on the 360 and the ps3 should they not have been sorted out together and not the 360 first. We pay £45 for a game that does not work properly.
EA get your finger out and get the update sorted.

See, that's what i was wondering. Players always side-step even after the update, but people always complain about crab-walking with lofted thru balls. But i see players side-stepping just in open play (i.e. trying to get into space, defending one area). So did the patch only fix it for through balls?

On ps3 the crab walk happens nearly every time I play a game.. Its ridiculous but im glad they are fixing that up..

Strangely I never had this crab-walk problem. I don't play online anymore may be that's where it is felt badly!

I'm not sure that it has had an overall positive effect. I played a few ranked games last night where my opponent was just mashing the through ball button from 30 yds. Didn't work all the time but a few times, by the time the screeen panned, my defender was half a yard behind and struggling.

I thought defending would be easier but not so in my experience.

When you de-select a player that you were previously controlling, he isn't going to carry on doing what you were intending on doing with him. So they stop , dither, whatever and work out what they're going to do next. They were never going to "fix" that.

Thanks for the videos. Well on xbox360 I've never seen side-stepping/crab walk like that... There are minor movement issues which I guess is normal in the game world of Fifa movement... by this I mean irritating unintelligent movement of the uncontrolled players...
