And because I have to get up early in the morning I can't play too much at night anyway...gaming is a big problem for my girl, she doesn't see any sense in it and if I would just sell my XBOX she'd be quite happy. I don't get more than 1 hour per day without her becoming angry....whick sucks.
One of my friends has a girl-friend from Asia who's playing a lot PS3 herself...one day he even came home from work and his girl still sat in front of the LCD in her underpants playing Motorstorm.....damn!
The wife cant stand FIFA but she is slowly getting in to LBP.........just lacking the co ordination at the mo lol.

Yeah its a nightmare trying to balance game time, work time and wife time.

Are you married?

Then please keep YOUR opinion about another person to yourself if all you can say is "your sad" I mean come on, it says your 21 in your age but really how old??!?!?!

You see the problem with your confrontational and non constructive comment dont you?

Its like you cant think of anything worthwhile to say so instead of thinking about it more or just leaving it alone you need to be insulting and take this down to playground name calling which is not only childish but quite sad really.

- Actual Fifa time

^ Calm down people. What works for some definitely won't work for others. So let us all try to live our own lives instead of condemning others.

No-one said they put the game over their family. We all say that a balance needs to be struck.

Stop assuming that because we are married with children that we dont enjoy a game too - also don't assume that the game takes priority.

My point is why do you call someone else sad?

I mean the give and take of a relationship is what its all about, my wife doesnt like me playing ps3 for 3/4 hours at night while she is in bed. That said I dont like my wifes 3/4 hour make up/jewelery parties or 4/5 hours of shopping which is why she goes with her sister!

No one is neglecting their families, we are all paying our mortgages and putting food on the table and spending quality time with loved ones.

Mines the same, although she does now use the following phrases:

"Not another manu noob"
"Lobbed throughball again?"
"how many SP's you been hammered for by being that random french team against UTD/Bayern/Chelski"

She is pretty understanding to be fair but she just cant see the difference between 24 inch SD and 32 inch HD though

Was just pointing out that earlier in the thread some pointless comments were made and then when another person makes a pointless comment we get roll eyes smiles from the first person to make a pointless comment!??!?

Ah! Football Manager! I've had many 12+ hour stints on that, with a few breaching the 24 hour mark. It's just so adictive! Your constantly thinking 'Just one more game' or 'I'll just tweak this a little', and before you know it 2 hours have past!

My longest by far though was when the latest GTA was released. By coincidence I had gotten loads of sleep the night before, had no work to go to, and proceeded to play for 27 hours straight, followed by around 7 hours sleep, then another 18+ hours.
For days, even weeks after, I would watch TV and my mind would mistake things for computer graphics! Very weird - I wouldn't advise it!

I don't put a computer game over my family but gaming has always been one of my hobbies and I simply enjoy playing a few good football matches after a hard day of work.

If you bought your box recently that shouldn't be a problem, anymore. (Falcon and Jasper revision)
