The user "bluchampblogger" has a great, lengthy thread explaining how you can tweak custom tactics in order to make the game play more realistic. I don't have a link handy, but if you search, you'll find it.

After the janurary transfer window will they be coming out with an update with all the transfers? Also i think it would be sweet if they added some more boots like the new nike vapors (berry, citrus) and some of the new adidas boots.

hi guys. i have a xbox 360 and a fifa 09 ofc. just 1 question. how can i check, if i have the updated game? when i connected console to the live, it prompted some updates to be installed. but, as we know, update is required for any game to be played on live. so i'm just confused. xD

New shoes would be great!
And tottaly not difficult to add it to a patch, I think!

If you can play online you have the update installed.

i know that i came a bit too late but i hope that i get answeres for my Q's :-

1- Is the update available for all platforms users (XBOX , PS3 & PC)
or it's only for the PC Users?

cuz i have no idea how to update my fifa on PS3 whenever the update comes for the ps3 so can anyone advice me to see how could it be done?

if walls cud be added in the free kicks training it would be so much better to learn free kicks properly

Imo, Brazillian Ronaldo should be in game, because he did not end his career. He plays in brazillian league right now, so i think, he should be present in game. Update should fix this problem.

Id love there to be some new colour vapours in the game.

I think they should add the new tunits especially the messi editions. There should also have the white and blue lasers in aswell just say mascherano wearing them today and they look nice.

They should also tinker with a couple of players technicall abilities, players like lafita of deportivo, adam hammill and pennant aswell as a few none LFC players.

Its so annoying because whenever you play with them even though they are technically good in real life you cant do things like rainbow flicks or heel flicks and the all round feel of that player isnt as good.

And please put ronaldo in, hes back playing for corinthians.

Corinthians must have more attention just like the bigger teams of other leagues, just because the team god the Fenomeno!

The uniform of some teams must be changed in January or February of 2009, including Corinthians...is there any possibility to update these teams???

I agree, put Ronaldo on Corinthians!

EA also made to update the 20 teams of the Brazilian Championship season 2009 and put the option of editing the uniform and players through the USB camera as already exists in the PES. Thus the player can update teams that EA has no license, such as Internacional de Porto Alegre (Brazil). This update could be through the PS Store or Live.

for the next update can u sort out this problem im havin cos the majority of online games i play i never finish cos of my internet connection but the games i do lose connection on always count as a loss and i dnt find this fair as some of them games im totally dominating (well hardly any) but still can u just count onto the dnf instead of a loss cos on my other acc i now have about 30 losses and 18 wins. also 4 the person im playing just put as a win or something.

You can't, you need to be connected to the PlayStation Network.
