Yes, 8 user teams is a relief.

Back in the day we could use 16 which was better, and it was ideal to play a full World Cup as we could even control the other 16 computer teams (against user teams). I thought new generation would increase user teams, so I didn't understand why it dropped to 4... as I say 8 is at least a relief to play a decent Champions League offline tournament

I was afraid that weather in MM and other parts of the game wont be fix. Even tho they only need to code in one random for the Stadium type to choose if it's Night, Day, Overcast, depending on the types available for the specific stadium. I just don't want to play in the same time of day / weather all time.

what about when you make a long pass to another player and instead of receiving the ball, the player just side step away and let the ball go out of touch

Or is that the same as the lofted through pass crab walk ?

it's good that they have fixed the advantage rule and good that they have fixed the crab walking from a lob through ball but will players still dance around the ball.

i was hoping manual passing would be fixed but hasn't looks like i'm stuck with semi assisted passing great

also will fifa in the future be patching things like players gliding along the grass as if it was ice, goalkeepers saving the ball without touching it and players going along the ground on one foot YouTube - fifa 09 bug player hoping

this mean the invisible player is nothing slove??

Crab walk is not just happen on through ball, this happening around all the time...

The call back is not just about on goal, but on a breakaway as well

They are going to be allocated, i think the reason you cant choose yourself is because it takes a lot of work and coding to put that in the game

we will not be able to assign mm numbers manually after the patch, but what happens in the next update is that the CPU will still choose shirt numbers, but will make an informed decision about his number

We need to be able to see the weather first before it can be put into manager mode.

i really hope they sort the weather effects out....i've played around 4 seasons in manager mode and dont think i've seen a night game, nevermind rain or snow...

considering EA were making a fairly big deal about the weather effects in this years it would be nice if they actually turned up in the game...

the advantage rule not working is related to using the DPAD for controls - is this fixed?

Thank you for the heads up! I know David Rutter left instructions to do this before going on holiday so thank you David as well. All in all, this is what we all wanted.

Thank you for making FIFA 09 the best it can be.
