With regards to the manager mode numbers issue, will the patch come into effect in a manager mode already in progress, or will it only work after creating a new one?

Yeah all these bugs were a real pain. I was wishing very very much that they would change the way the camera is when cpu or user is substituting a player. Like the camera would zoom to no where and then later zoom to the players substituted. I know it's not a big deal but it really annoys me. By the way, this is the best fifa ever. Good job EA. I'm hooked with EA Forever as Far as FIFA series go.

-rooney was injured after a collision with one of my CPU players in the 59th min.
-he got the ball again as rooney around 61' and i sprinted at him from behind and took a nasssssty hack to break his legs and take him out of the game (i hate rooney and his dumbo ears).
-other player got the advantage, and ronaldo was near the tackle, got possession, and even took a shot.
-i saved it, then kicked it up field, where i even took a shot on goal.
-after the shot went behind for a corner, it went to a cutscene of nakamura (player i used to take out rooney) getting a red, which it's now 64'.

i suggest you learn the laws of the game:

advantage: referee should allow play to continue when the team against which an offense has been committed will benefit from such an advantage. The referee indicates this by calling "advantage" and extending both arms in front of his body.

This means that a foul will not be called if the referee feels that letting play continue is more advantageous to the fouled team than stopping play for a free kick. However, if the anticipated advantage does not ensue at that time, the referee may then stop play and penalize the original offense.

summing it up: no foul called, no card can be given. thank you, come again.

And in future, I suggest you make sure that you are RIGHT before acting all cocky.

Watch the Arsenal v Villa game from saturday. Fabregas fouls Barry. Play continues, 1 minute later Villa get penalty. Ref books fabregas for foul on Barry DESPITE playing advantage.

And as for 'no foul called, no card can be given' what nonsense. A player can be booked for swearing, diving, time-wasting, and a whole host of other things. He can even be sent off at half time! Or even when sitting on the bench - No foul ever needs to be called.

I'm not suggesting that these things should happen in FIFA 09, I merely want to point out that this geezer has completely misinterpreted the rules of the game.

The freezing almost always is because of bad connection with the EA servers.

when u pass the ball to your player, and u quickly move to a direction the ball is just stuck to his feet and u dont move and its easy for the opposition to steal the ball even b4 u can turn around or move your player

The most anoying thing:

If the oponent dribles past your keeper, the keeper doesn't run back often ,
and when it does it isn't aware of his position in the goal.

So it will dive towards the bal even when he is nowhere near the goal.

EA should fix the Adidas Live season because its not working since i bought all the leagues package i havnt gotten any update and then when i try to check out the player stats the only thing that comes up is Purchase or tell me more so i redownloaded it again and it comes up the same I think its because the language package or maybe because i hav an elite so any could help me that would great

When the update is released you will be prompted to download it if you are connected to Live/PSN.

No. You will NOT be able to take custom teams online for ranked play.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.. I must of read that section wrong.. It says its getting rid of that feature.. By the way, how do you play with a custom team on online ranked matches on 360 anyways..? I never thought u could..
