you should be able to pick whatever number you want for a player in MM.
i keep buying great players that take the number 2. and i got a goalkeep that took number 7. annoying, but well done for the new patch. bring out a new one soon after

Yeah, that is another horrible annoying problem. The issue where it says, "You have been kicked from the server" for no reason. Than you need to shut off your system 2-3 times in order for it to be fixed and this is so annoying when trying to find a club game and you finally find a match and someone has that problem and gets kicked and wastes our time.

what about the goal kick bug?
sometimes when my goalie has a goal kick
i can see my opposition players waiting inside the penalty box
i thought as a rule they should not be inside the box

I would love to see a mini game menu for 5 aside matches/tournaments using the same gamplay from fifa 09 or better, unlike the fifa street i hate because it all looks too cartoon type and unrealistic gameplay. something like the masters tournament would be good to add.

This would give you a choice to choose the club and the number of players for the starting line up and the subs too. and then you would have to stick to them throughout the tournament. including the usual injuries etc.

Wow that would be so amazing. Just make it indoors (like fifa 98 was, just bigger and nicer looking obviously) and allow you to have masters style tournaments, keeping the fifa 09 gameplay, none of this fifa street rubbish.

Happy to hear about the "- Improved number assigning in Manager Mode" shame we cannot assign these numbers ourselves like in 08. ****es me off when they take **** like that away. What was the point ??

that's not a bug, you shouldn't be so stupid to kicked the ball out so fast when there's a player in front of your keeper... it's like that dude who was whining about him passing to his defenders with his keeper and the attackers just standing in front of his defenders to take the ball and score.

Sounds like a good update. Really looking forward to playing without the crabwalking. Kind of disappointed that they arent patching offline be a pro mode. I meant in a mode where you rely alot on your teammates it doent help when star players are completed removed from your team's roster.

I think FIFA10 is going to be doing something like this, but with the full team.
5-a-side matches would be sick, though they'd have to make specific arenas and stadiums for it.

I'd love to see them incorporate a football player sim.
What I mean by that is, you upload yourself to the servers. And you play and practice with your club.
You have a price on your head depending on your skill and performance.
You can upgrade your stats by the amount of practice you put in.
And I think they should put realistic limits on this, like you can only play one or two matches per day, with realistic fatigue.
And if you don't put in the practice, you lose vital stats.
You can be purchased, traded, and loaned by your managers.

I'm confused, I thought I'd have a few games on FIFA 09 before going to sleep tonight, everything totally as normal. Then my 3rd match of the night, all of a sudden out of nowhere, without downloading anything whatsoever, my score display is completely different. It now comes in a blue drop-down box, with the full team name instead of a 3 letter abbreviation, and it fades away if the play, or the player you're controlling goes anywhere near it, so it doesn't block your view. Also, when a substitution is made the player on-off graphic is now different, and all of a sudden in my settings I now have a game speed option which never existed before. Anybody know anything about this, or how it would just suddenly completely change between matches? There is no mention of any update of this kind, please help, lol. - Paul

It's great that EA is releasing this update, and I thank them for it, but, it would have been better if they include weather effects in Manager Mode. Just my 2 cents.

I live in Toronto, Canada, and it seems that my UK and US friends seem to be doing fine.... this is frustrating!

Raiun is easiy to c on any other camre bsides tele. However... Snow is still eluding me. I cant seem to get snow. TRied Stadio olympico but nt wrking. I played on a some weird hard pitch tho that made the ball bounce like hectically. Small pitch

Paul you would have been in a french stadium.

When you play as or against a french team at they're own ground the score display will change. It also changes at german, spanish and italian stadiums.

There has always been a game speed option.
