Thanks for the suggestion, but I wouldn't even know where to begin.!

Hasn't 'Fifaskills' released a load of videos on YouTube showing this type of thing already? My initial aim was just to compile a useful reference document for FIFA 09, so I think I'll leave a/v productions to the experts...

Glad to hear people are finding the guide useful. Please keep comments coming and I'll try to update it soon.

To all the people who keep PMing and XBL messaging me about how to download the guide - instructions are in the original post on the previous page.

And no - I won't be making a PS3-specific version I'm afraid no matter how much you plead. I simply don't have the time. All of the information in it is relevant for both systems, you just have to substitute the control maps from 360 to PS3.

Glad to hear that people are still finding it useful though. I've finally got around to printing it off in full colour and binding it - makes a handy reference document to keep next to the sofa...

Holy lalalala! this guide is SIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!

After switching to PES a good 5 years ago and reading countless reviews on how this years edition has topped PES, I decided to re-convert to FIFA09 just under a week ago. I completely forgot that the extensive controls and training don't exist with this game, so a huge thanks goes out to Mascott.

Now, the ? is, do I have enough ink in my printer to run a copy. LOL

Masscot? did you print it off yourself or go to Business depot or something?

I did it in work on the colour laser printer. I strongly recommend double-sided printing unless you want some tree-huggers kicking your door in...

Glad people are still finding it useful!

Since as i'm a novice when it comes to PDF files, I have one question Mascott.

I wish to print it off at a local Business Depot. However, rather than just the regular double-sided format, I'd like to do it in booklet format. i.e 4 pages to one sheet, so that it ends up being about the same size as the manual that comes with the game.

How would I go about doing that?

Is it something i'd have to do prior to taking the file in to the store, or is it simply a case of selecting the correct printing option?

Thanks.

Hi Footy -
I've got no idea, sorry..! It should be a setting in the print options (like page-saving duplex printing, ie two A5 pages per A4 sheet, printed both sides) but I don't know how you would format the PDF to print at A6 size.

Can anyone else offer any advice?

Thanks for the reply. Apparently Business Depot don't know either. I can set it on my printer options with the lexmark software I have. It's just that it takes almost an entire set of cartridges to print it off.

I found a software that will do this if anyone is interested.

Go to CutePDF - Create PDF for free, Free PDF Utilities, Save PDF Forms, Edit PDF easily.

Easy set up and you can save the pdf doc afterwards.

The trial version leavesa discreet watermark along the edge of the first sheet to be printed. So when the printing is done and the booklet is put together, the watermark will acutally be out of sight on the very last page.

Yep - EA released the guide on to many websites and forums, but it was mostly fragmented and lacked control inputs for many of the moves. All I did (and all I ever claimed I did - there's a disclaimer in the guide itself about it being created mainly from existing source material) was to complie it all into one handy downloadable PDF document, include controls for the Xbox 360, resize the images appropriately and add some other stuff like celebrations etc.

I originally did it purely for my own use but then decided to upload it after many requests from friends.
