The relaying of player edits is taking lots time and co-ordination. My sincere suggestion to you is to make these changes yourselves. Editing per league would take about 2 hours only. Let's just do it instead of spending that extra time on downloading, uploading, chasing other people etc. Instead of this unproductive time on player edits, let's get this done by ourselves. That's the quickest and most efficient way to do it. Listen to some music or chat with your friend while you do those edits in the few hours so that this weekend you can play divine football!!! |

Thus it's crazy to think that one person could undertake this on his own and be done with it in a few days, let alone hours! Let's just say that even if it did take only 2 hours per league (actually it's about 10 minutes per team which translates to around 3 or 4 hours per league) - that means you would have to edit 20 leagues which translates to over 40 hours of editing (a very modest estimate). That's over an entire full work week and many of us here have very demanding job and family responsibilities - I barely can fit in playing 6 or 7 games a week let alone 40 hours of editing! That said I salute the guys putting in all of this hard work and encourage them not to give up - the rest of us who just can't do it will be enormously grateful for their efforts.

Congratulations for this thread - it's made FIFA 09 the best game ever. If only EA would realise that some of us want slower gameplay and that allows a proper football simulation rather than arcade ping pong. The intracacies of the game are staggering after applying these speed reduction changes.
I would happily help in the editing process, but it's important that whenever someone is editing they say so on here and upload it straight away - otherwise we will all end up doing the same leagues! As it seems quite slow moving at the moment I'm gonna try and take on the file now and do as much of the EPL as possible today and upload it as soon as I'm finished. Keep up the good work everyone! |

I have edited up to Middlesborough in the EPL (using the file posted on this thread so it includes La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga). I'll do some more now and post the file as far as I've got if someone wants to continue from where I left off. It's the all the reserves and youth players that take soooooooooo long!!
